you shot an IS2, it wasnt your shell but wonky russian damage models
The hit analysis is based on the client replay and can be a bit odd at times. i recommend going into the server replay and taking a look there to see if the shot actually hit in that way or if it actually hit somewhere else and your client was shown incorrect information due to de-sync.
Could you perhaps also link the server replay here?
sorry but this clip was from a battle that happened on 2025 and it has overwhiten the old ones. but if you say its just jank than il accept the fact that its just the latency issues. but still anoying as hell.

Don’t even try to find an explanation for the penetration and damage model, because it’s completely random garbage. You can aim for the best possible spot, but the bullet might not penetrate or do any damage simply because the game decides it doesn’t.
