on the other hand, it can lock on ground targets very well even at 20km distance. Hell, even 12km is a struggle in PvP for some reason. Is there any way to explain that strange behaviour?
It actually locks tanks at around 6km

why does it lock them from 20km in a test flight tho? I mean, it feels like a scam to me. If I buy a vehicle I wanna test it first and the test provides inacurate info. If I had known that these rockets are THIS bad I wouldn’t even consider buying the pack…

It only locks the ground (or a stationary target) from 20km, if the target is moving it can only lock around 6-7 km.
What you can do to hit a moving target beyond that range is lock the ground infront of the target where you think itll be when the missile reaches 6km and when it does it will auto lock on it, although it might lock onto another vehcile that was closer or even a destroyed one.
