So you went AFK for 5 minutes at 10,000m altitude?
He must’ve, at least ive flown both and still prefer the F-35 but im willing to admit its not a instant win vehicle. Missiles dont just save a mediocre flight model.
Now again if they buff the XS with its historical missiles then yes it should go to 10.7 but without them no.
So I got curious and did a test in the test drive, on Realistic battle setting with 6 ata missiles and 21 minutes of fuel in the tank (unlimited fuel on) After six minutes of flight with full afterburner at 20k feet I was able to achieve mach 1.55 and was unable to break this limit. So I would say this really isnt achievable in a real battle you’d run out of fuel and mach 2 I don’t see that happening ever.
EDIT: AT 38k feet or over 10k meters I got to just over mach 1.6 but it would have killed the engine and oil in order to do this and taken forever.

The 10.3 migs are also overpowered. Everything with the flares+generally unavoidable missiles combination around that rating NEEDS to greatly move up besides a few exceptions(spsk and a5c would be rasied a little less due to low missile quantity).
Right after this move all 9.3 to 9.7 and 9.7 ideally to 10.3, and then 10.0s to 10.7. 9.0 is near unplayable because you can literally see up to 35G MAGICS in a full uptier on planes with much better performance than you. Maybe with a lot of comments in the next rating changes we can convince them.
This is the best take here dont screw one vehicle over move up the main 10.3 problems to decomp the BR a bit.
that’s basically just BR compression which gaijin fixed before then ruined it by down tiering a bunch of premiums

If you move all 9.3 to 9.7 all 9.7 to 10.3 and all 10.0 to 10.7 you haven’t solved anything you’ve just moved everything up a single br and its still the same exact match ups.
No 9.7 would be increased two steps so there would be some of the same matchups but it would be less likely with matchmaking due to the two are difference. Could separate it even another step if it’s still problematic.
Current 9.7 and 10.0 with these changes would be adjacent in rating just like they are currently but that’s not as big of a problem because most 9.7 get access to 16g+ missiles just like the 10.0. We just need to greatly split the 16g missile supersonics from the 10g ones.
You move top tier to 16.0 (current).
Fix anything else accordingly.
