Why is it that in every patch, if someone hits the bomb itself, it just disappears?! Why do I have to lose because of this, because without the bomb this bomber can not do anything, although I all the rink dragged for the whole team?! Why is it still no one has not fixed, although it has been quite a long time, and I personally faced it more than once?! Why because of this bug or “feature”, the opposing team gets another huge chance to win, because when I am shot down, I will not have revival points and thus I set the team up?!

When I shoot the nuke, the nuke blows up.
Uh, no, it doesn’t explode. There are videos on Youtube where they shoot at the bomb and it just disappears.
I’ve shot like two nukes and they’ve blown up with my HQ-17. I thought the first one was a fluke, the second one blew up when I shot his plane.
I know the video is in Russian, but use subtitles and then you will realize the incompetence of the developers of this game
I’m aware of their incompetence. I get my comments deleted every day for calling them out.

Maybe in IRL it’s true that shooting a nuke won’t do anything( but it won’t disappear). BUT, war thunder has nothing to do with real life, war thunder is a game, with a lot of conventions, so the bomb should not disappear.

It’s ‘broken’ so it disappears…
It’s not like a normal bomb where the TNT/explosives is a main portion. As those threads mention the nuke requires something to happen outside of just a primer.
So you’re saying the disappearance of nuke is normal?
Why is it still possible to destroy the nuke(the bomb itself?
To give the other side a chance of shooting it down to defend themselves

My complaint is not about shooting down a plane with a nuke, but about destroying the bomb itself. It’s just stupid, because your plane is intact and can fly safely
The game doesn’t distinguish between whether a bomb is in a dropped state, or still attached to the plane.
If it exists, it can be damaged and destroyed. Which is a good thing.
The nukes are the same, just with much lower TNT capacity, meaning almost no collateral/secondary damage when destroyed.

It wouldn’t explode so you weren’t denied a nuke unfairly, and the need to post up the evidence from others just shooting it on the runway further makes my point.
It won’t explode, and it’s just ‘broken’ so it’s removed.
How is that GOOD?! I nuked, I flew to the battlefield, I didn’t get shot down, I just got hit with one bullet in the bomb, which made it disappear and now I have a useless airplane and 0 revival points. That’s AWESOME! Now that’s COOL!
Its good because it gives the enemy a chance at defending themselves.
So why does it have to be that way? What’s the point? If that nuke can’t even always be refilled? Doesn’t that mean it’s just a regular bomb that has had its ability to explode from a hit disabled, so it just disappears and due to other problems it can’t always be replenished?

Do you realize that you call a bug, a good “feature”? Why should enemies have so many chances? Why can’t I have a chance to just score 2500 points and end the game instantly?
