Im getting tired of getting my crew locked over this stupid reason you would figure the game has been out for quite awhile now that this shit shouldn’t happen like it does.
It’s more often your connection than actually being the servers.
Its because server-side you’re still up when it starts having an aneurysm. If you crash while this is going on the game automatically counts it as you crashing and therefore gives the crewlock. It would be nice if it could detect when it does it but seeing as you disconnect from the servers its a lot harder to put into practice
If a lost connection would not lead to crew lock, people would simply quickly disconnect their system from the network to prevent getting crew locked.
How does this happen so often? I am in asia but it seems like european server is the most consistent (PL wise). This happens when I take off resulting in my death more than 10 times this week and I didn’t see this previously.
If you’re even slightly on wifi, that’ll be a possible reason.
I really dont understand this, my wifi is as fast as my ethernet connection, my pc is standing literally next to the router but when i switch from Ethernet to wifi, the game goes from 40 Ping 0%PL to over 300 Ping 60% PL.
This cant be a problem with our wifi connections, it is definitely a war thunder problem. Other online games work, and my browser is still fast on wifi.
Its not a problem for me because i play at home and have ethernet, but does gaijin not want people to ppay on the go?
No I’m on cable… this happens with different WIFI regardless, I’ve tried Asian server and Russian server.
My CS works and is through steam as well as WT.
Wifi isn’t a constant connection, and is prone to interference.
And in some instances, you can actually have too much signal, akin to someone shouting at someone messages, and that can actually cause trouble with the stability of it.
Other games, browsers, nothing to do with the game itself, as this game is different being server sided, and thus requiring as stable a connection as possible.
If you use mobile connections and that’s what you think wifi is defined as, then that could be worse. (This is a seemingly common mixup, where wifi should be your local wifi to router connection in the term I’m meaning.)
Other games, also are incomparable.
As in different routers, I tried it at my friend’s house and it was the same even with cables :P
There’s a lot of things up with connections, and many things can effect them.
As I said, there’s more likelihood of it being your connection than the servers themselves.
I know but BTW it doesn’t happen to the eu server and little to US server as well.
The internet is a series of tubes, and those routes can be shared by many, or few… It doesn’t make a difference in what I’m saying…
As mentioned it tends to on your end or even issues with the ISP, as well as issues long the path to the server
If there are Server issues, then there will be announcements
