As long as F-4EJ Kai has 30 extra CM with better RWR/Radar.
My line of thinking was that the EJ kai has better radar/rwr but lacks HMD
have you used the F-4J HMD?
HMD is certainly useful, but as even seen with aircraft like the Typhoon vs Rafale. Without a good off-boresight missile, the HMD value is lost a bit,

Yes, I know, its high prf but still is a useful feature since you can spam locks where you know the enemy is, without prior alerting them with your radar search and fire a missile in quick succession. Or if the target is spotted by your team.

MLD would be ok at 12.0 in air RB, but the ML and MLA can’t go up due to their abysmal RWR and relatively poor radar. Good luck facing Aim-120s and good 4th gens with Spo-10.
Mig-23MLD is inferior to F-4J in all ways except dogfight capability where they’re more equal than different.

Also radar is a big pile of crap tbh unreliable af, mig-23mld radar is way more reliable even though it’s technically worse

Err… I can’t see the difference. Can you tell us why ‘F-4J acts worse in every way’
- it has the same engine
- it has the same 20mm gunpods
- it has AIM-9G, which is slightly worse than AIM-9H, but at a marginal level.
- it has the same AIM-7F. which was one of the best SARH in this game before the MiG-29 shows up.
with some fancy ahistorical buff for gameplay side, which its seeker acts monopulse. - has the same J79 engine
- with same VTAS HMS
- Also can access almost the same bombardment payloads.
Compression issue.
APG-59 is one of the earliest Pulse-doppler radars.
It might be unreliable, but still way better than most of Pulse-only radar.
It might be disappointing, still it is better than you think, and many of counterparts.

yeah the F-4J UK is definitely 11.7 worthy, but it’s still more than useable at 12.0, the F-4S would be perfectly fine at 12.3 which maybe minor adjustments and the F-4J could remain 12.0,
