Again, great idea, But how the hell are you supposed to know when to turn?
There is legit no warning if something has you locked on any of the planes bellow 10.0.
Hell my Scimitar has a 3km max range RADAR, let alone any sort of warning about a all aspect radar missile being thrown at me from 9km away.
The 10.3 Premium A10 gets AGM-65Bs with TV guidance and 23km range. not quite 10.0 but
My suggestion is just looking around, if theres a f106 flying straight at you its best to start maneuvering
Or maybe… just maybe… Radar missiles shouldn’t be at a BR where there are no counters to them, especially not on Super sonics like the F106.

You wont get it lock on target anywhere near 20km.
Heck lucky if you get it on lock on 8km.
And lastly, you lack speed and altitude on A10 etc jets to even come near 20km range even on ground lock
27G overload is paper tiger in the game median overload is quite low and it looses speed really fast R-3R or AIM-9C better missiles than AIM-4

You might get a lock on 8km away, and if you fly low it wont even reach that 8km
aim9Bs are at like 8.3 there are also technically no counters to them

Well, obviously you are not going to shoot anything past 10km, the maps are a bit too small for this anyways and the game might just refuse to lock completely visible targets.
Thing is, the practical range of 6~8km allows the plane to launch missiles and simply turn back to the airfield unless there’s someone already lurking on your side of the map with AAMs.
most maps you can shoot well over 10km, that is not even the problem.
The problem is how shit TV seekers are. And how much mavericks lose range when fired low and slow.
IR mavericks you get locks quite easily past 8km.
On tv mav’s getting lock even inside 6km is roll of dice, and not to mention even slightest cloud and you wont lock a thing. And in 10.3 strela will pick up most flying if spotted well before TV locking :D

You complaining about the Aim4 says a lot as those missiles are garbage and are not reliable and make the Aim9B look good. also stop doing head ons and learn what aircraft have anti air missiles
yeah , but there is plenty of planes having 0 CM’s in that br range, so barrelroll is best bet, espsecially if they just like to fly hi and straight towards radarslinger :D
