Why I need 81k RP to research wing repair in a top-tier fighter?!

When checking my next modification, I have seeing that the wing repair is costing incredible 81k rp, more than the entire rank 2. Ok that its the only rank modification but 81k RP?
Oh, and my jet is a Mirage 2000-5Ei

Module RP cost is based on the amount of RP in one rank, divided by the amount of mods in that rank.

So you end up with stuff like that.

Same reason the engine for the F-16A ADF is 100k RP. It’s because it’s the only mod in the tier.
