Its worse at EVERYTHING. The Ariete is about the same but has better pen so still a bit better. All the others are plain better

Challengers have no armor and bad penetration as well and are slow as a duck
Merkavas arent far off either, i myself dont know about them specialy

Challengers may have bad armour but still better than the Leclerc and they have better pen. Ok they are slow.
Merkavas are very well protected against missiles and chemical rounds but are slow as hell

What ? It’s literally the worst top tier round
OFL 120 F1 has the lowest projectile mass and 2nd lowest pen of any top tier round

Well I checked, Challenger has access to more than 600 pen
The first two are rank 7 while the other two are rank 8, rank 7 vehicles generally does not have stock apfsds
How am I coping? I think the Leclerc is good, and it’s my favorite top tier MBT. I am stating the fact that it has the worst top tier round but this is made up for by the reload and mobility.

The problem is that France just doesn’t have anything else and two of these variants have stock HEATFS

already explained why as well, to reduce the overall grind for new vehicles in the french tree
Explained this also, give it a rank VII premium like all other nations instead of having a terrible verison of an already bad tank
china and france are receiving theirs next patch, they released one after another its that easy, germany only got theirs last patch as well
Besides that this choice makes it better for non premiums as well who need to grind less as a result
