Another vehicle can be added for fill the gap of movility/scouting.
OT-810D:
If my calculations are correct, the 6,8kg K.Gr. Rot Pz at 685m/s will allow it to penetrate 47,66mm at 100m at 60°. So maybe you will be able to frontally pen a T-34 from 200m (best situation) trough the hull.
No to mention the Gr.38 HL/C, tho at the still low velocity of 450m/s.
Tho its overall a shame that they dont do the minimum of putting the Puma at Rank 3.
How about the Pz.II Luchs equipped with a Puma turret?
Was ever build or just paper ???
The war ended before the prototype was completed. As it consists of the Puma turret and the Luchs chassis, all components are present.
And of course another german tank for high ranks. Now is very clear this continues nerfs for the most used vehicles of rank 3, 4 and 5 and keep germany with brutal lack of meta vehicles in mid ranks is intentional. They are trying to push the masive german player base to high ranks leaving mid and low ranks deaths.
Enjoy.
Ehh, it’s an event vehicle, not TT. And the R400 does seem like it fits best as an event vehicle.
Also it would never solve the issue brought forth in this thread, which is a light tank between 3.7-6.3. The R400 seems to go somewhere around 8.7-9.3 since it’ll get DM33.
-Players: Hey Gaijin remember Germany is the only nation ingame with no acces to scouting in rank 3 and even have a important lack of movility.
-Gaijin: I see, dont worry here you have another rank 7 light tank!
-Players: But we said rank 3!!!
-Gaijin: Ahhh dont worry here is a rank 2 copy paste light tank !!!
come on man, gaijin didnt copy pasted that vehicle, it has a camo net on it therefore its a whole new vehicle!
dont mind the fact it takes like 30 minutes to add said camo net…
So what Puma is this and is it rank III?:

Biene, and no Rank II.
Crazy.
Now we have premiun and TT variant fot the Puma they should do the same with the 234/4.
And of course change his role to ligh tank with scouting instead of TD just like Hellcat but is Germany…
Absolutely. With 3.7 it should be rank III and the issue would be fixed.
Another fix would be to put the “Pakwagen” into the tech tree. These were quite numerous standard units, back then, no special prototypes or whatever to justify to make them super rare premiums.
OK Waylon Smithers.
I made one vehicle suggestion that would fit perfectly with Germany Rank 3 light tank.
It’s been almost a month now since it went Pending…
Didnt know it was build, or at least partially?
It’s possible seeing both he hull and turret existed, just that by the time this was thought up, the 5cm was so outdated the idea was scrapped completely.
Then again this wouldn’t solve much, because it’s just a puma’s turret on a panzer 2L hull, which is gonna be a slower puma, with tracks.
That makes neither unique for this vehicle.
The Puma has a high top speed, but it lacks agility in tight turns and has a large, very noticeable hull. On the other hand, the Luchs has a much smaller hull, making it excellent at hiding and playing hide-and-seek. And, thanks to its tracks, it surpasses the Puma in both hill-climbing ability and turning radius.
I normally play at BR 5.7–6.0 using the Pz.Sfl.Ic. Aside from gun depression and reload speed, I find the Luchs easier to handle than the Puma. The 5cm-Luchs is almost the same size as the Pz.Sfl.Ic, but it features improved reload time and better gun depression, plus smoke launchers and a machine gun as added bonuses.
There’s no doubt that it makes a superior scout tank compared to the Puma.
Except for the fact that 5 cm-Luchs production was canceled, all the necessary parts are available, so it should meet the implementation criteria.
The exact structure of the Ostwind II remains unclear, the Kikka was originally supposed to be unarmed, the flight performance of the J7W1 and XP-55 is about 80% fabricated, and there are other weapons in this game with questionable credibility, such as the NS-45 APHE and the HO-RI.
Besides, War Thunder has a stance that allows for some degree of fabrication for the sake of balance adjustment. Please consider this positively.
