Also for the people going to say that my aim is bad, it isn’t the gun mounted on the bottom paired with the low velocity is just hard to aim when someone is REALLY trying not to die.
You never touched him, therefore it isn’t an elimination. Trust me, there’s worse things in the game, like how people that you shot will intentionally fly right into you and you won’t get the elimination, despite him crashing into you after you got a crit on him.
Gaijin doesn’t count maneuver kills
If you were a real life pilot, on a real mission, on a real dogfight, you’d get the kill just like that EF-111A got a kill against an Iraqi Mirage F1

Funny thing is, that if you bail out they will be a kill counted on the nearest enemy.
Yeah that’s why I’m so pissed about this. You can literally crash on purpose when you’ve made a mistake and not give the enemy the kill. Just doesn’t make sense.
I’m slightly sure that’s to punish you rather than reward the opponent

Pangolin I’m pretty confident is just a troll. And provided this was the last guy, I would have chased him too for a decent bit. Maybe not 10 minutes, but for sure for a decent bit to see if I can get him, especially if he is the last one on the enemy team.
Personally, I would have just RTB and got bombs, but then again, he’s flying a Chinese jet, not known for their CAS capabilities. Speaking of which, whatever happened to that guy that was begging for napalm on the J-7 to make it viable?
