Why doesnt the nuke plane have flares?

German ones I think are. But if the US is getting their 14.0 as a nuke carrier, then everyone should. Because US having the F-15E and everyone else in things like the Tonka and Su-24 would be stupidly unfair, which is why the F-111 would probably be better

just give the russians and china the SU-34 and everyone else the Strike Eagle.

That oculd work, but is a little boring.

its boring but it beats flying suicidal cold war planes against iris t slm’s

if its actually confirmed to be cleared for nukes then sure. but to be completely honest how much of an improvement is, say, an auto-spaded (i think nuke planes are spaded for performance?) F-111F vs its Tornado equivalent, instead of an F-15E against that same Tornado

A lot.

i thought the F-111F topped out higher on the deck

It does, but has no where near the accleration, max speed or manuervability of an F-15E. And a min weight Tonka, would probably not be too bad. Its the fact you need to be near max weight msot of the time that causes the issues in ARB

Unless you would consider F-111 vs Typhoon fair

with no other weaponry and hugging the ground to just not deal with SAM, in a straight line, does it really matter? now the acceleartion is a good point but i mean this F-111F is going to be clean except for a nuke and only needs fuel for a 1 way trip, i think it could hit its top speed or get close

the f15e generates energy out of nowhere

last i checked it had 2 F100-PW-229 that put out a whole lot of energy at the expense of a copious amount of JP-8

Which Again, would favour the Tonka just as much.

But Tonka and F-111 are pretty close.

Tonka and F-15E are in entirely different universes. The only thing close to the F-15E is the Typhoon

F-111F’s engines generate 111.6 kN of thrust each.
F-15F’s engines generate 129 kN of thrust each.
Yes, it’s more fuel-hungry, but that doesnt matter in a one-way trip

but in the straight line at low alt the F-111F and F-15E arent so different. if tonka and f-111 are close then isnt tonka also closer to the F-15E?

If thats the case. The F-111s all need quite a major BR increase

what? i checked with WT stats and spaded F-111F engine pushes like 101 kN each on burner, F-15E’s are 103 kN (both spaded)

straight line, low fuel, ground hugging with nearly slick payload is only going to happen in GRB nuke. they absolutely do not need a BR increase, F-111F should not be seeing 13.0

I’m using the official unclassified data. I don’t know what gaijin is huffing if they gave the Strike Eagle 103 kN of thrust per engine and the Aardvark 101

with or without burner btw

channel loss sucks, it feels like they use it to nerf specifically US jets since many others barely have channel loss, but ofc only American jets have to conform to reality
