you are calling the abrams worse than the ariete because you suffer on an abrams with the armor of an M1A2 at 11.3 with a pretty good shell; its not skill issue because you want something; its skill issue because you are calling a pretty decent tank at a good BR with a pretty good shell bad even tho it clearly isnt

Ariete is a glass cannon.
M1A1 HC is one of the best 11.3s in the game as is with a round superior to a few tech trees’ best 11.7 rounds.
i never said the Abrams was worse then it. All I said that it need better ammo and the real armor it had. both tanks are no where nearer what they should, but the Ariete is not something war thunder can fix unless it’s declassified.
i have a solution it might sound crazy but play the 11.7 Abrams
then give recommendations to Gaijin if you find any, but unless you look it won’t get better.
It has the real armor values already and giving it M829A2 at 11.3 dosent seem fair comsidering the armor and the mobility
And what will happen when M829A3 is added and BR’s get decompressed will it still not be worthy of M829A2?
Look at it imagine You are in any 10.3 tank and suddenly you encounter an abrams with good turret armor and as he shoots You an apfsds that dosent require to aim at any weakspot cuz all parts of your tank can be pen’d easily
no it doesn’t and you can look 3BM42 and 46 should not go through the UPF and people have said that for a while now.
And what about the 9.7’s fighting T-90A’s or 2A4’s?
Ask gaijin they think 3BM60 fighting 9.7 it’s balanced because it has only kontakt 5 and 3 km/h reverse
revers gear mean nothing if the tanks shooting you can’t pen you or see you. It can kill them on the other side of the map.
To be fair, the T-90A is the worst experience I’ve had of any post-10.3 MBT.
Slow, slow, T-72B’s armor array, and the saving grace is some 3BM60 and sometimes its thermals on forest maps.
Can’t wait to never play it again; Need my forward speed back above 10.3.
T-90A made me forget my previous worst experience.

Which have only been for Air. Top Tier ground is still 11.7 even though Air go to 12.7.
