Why doesn't the AH-64D have the AGM-114L fire and forget like in the video

The note here is, gaijin won’t implement LOAL

because gaijin favors russia and only gives russia smoke evading missiles.

and they are lying . hellfire missiles are already garbage, every fire & forget missile in the game is trash, look at how spikes are treated.

There are other smoke defying munitons TOWs an good example. But none that can track through smoke.

the khriztema has radar that tracks onto tanks through smoke.

You know what that is true but I can’t remember when the last time I died to one because it’s radar is just that bad.

most effective Irl helicopter is the most effective ingame helicopter? blasphemy!

you’ve never been shot at one thats sitting behind a smoke screen : /

Not in a long time no.

Soviets don’t have F&F missiles that can evade smoke.

i never said they did.

Furthermore, who give a damn about Soviet?
Oh, they don’t, have it? it’s on them that they didn’t make it irl
too bad.

It doesn’t matter since we’re not getting radar guided AGMs regardless unless Gaijin adds weapon restrictions like DCS so they can ban them from random battles.

given we now have PARs LR and Spike ER’s it would make sense to implement it for some top tier helicopters, E.g. AH-64DJP, AH-64D, and AH Mk.1 Apache

as Israel, France and Germany all have FnF weaponry helicopters, and USSR utilises a much further ranged AGM, It would be nice for the latter nations to have something to catch up Yes this would increase their BR’s to 12.3/12.0 (DJP)

Especially they are longbow apache’s it would allow the radar to be more utilised, even with the new current SAM’s

None of those missiles are radar guided.
AH-64E can use Spike missiles if you want them.

Stop with the logical fallacies, false-equivalence is bad no matter what it is.

The point is. They cannot maintain the current status quo. FnF helis stand a slim chance of doing something, but if you have slow, low BR SAL AGMs like the Hellfire and especially if you dont have DIRCM. You are completely unplayable at top tier at the moment. Hard to justify why some like the Apaches are even north of 11.0, let alone 12.0.

So they either need to add MMW in a LOBL mode or a placeholder for MMW like adding AGM-114Ls with an IR seeker. EIther that or they need to just add AH-64Es to everyone with the Spikes that were trialed for the US one. Because currently it isnt fair that some get FnF and others dont.

This extends into fixed wing air as well.

Neither are needed when AH-64Es are fully Spike missile compatible.

And again…

Issue is, they have in the past denied nations like Britain, a weapon system used on an identical platform because “its not in Britains arsenal” such as Napalm for the F-4J(UK) despite being an ex-US F-4J which has Napalm in game already.

So there is a prescedence for them to deny Spikes for everyone except the US. Which then still leaves UK, Japan, Sweden, China and Soviets without any form of FnF.

Also, been waiting for AH-64Es for about a year? 2 years? longer? Given that a nation like Britain hasnt gotten a new top tier heli since 2020. More than 5 years ago now.

That’s not the precedent, and helicopters in general are lower priority.
AGM-114Ls will take longer to add regardless so demanding the longer to add thing is backwards thinking as well.

Then look at it from the perspective of fixed wing CAS then. Typhoon with ahistorical Brimstones 1s AND artificially limited to SAL-Only is just unfair when compared to the Su-30SM or Rafale F4.

MMW or MMW Placeholder needs to be added this year. For both Fixed wing AND rotor wing. Either that or they need to add an alternative ASAP. The current status quo cannot remain

Then what should we be demanding for then?

MMW has been needed since the Pantsir was added 3 years ago for helis and should have come with the Tornado Gr4 for fixed wings
