Why doesn't the AH-64D have the AGM-114L fire and forget like in the video

The problem is how mixed the matchmaker is, as whilst a brimstone may never go on a rampage against NATO tanks IRL in a war and only hoam in on BMPs and T-series tanks, those tanks are quite likely to be on your team in WT, and if brimstones are on both teams with how they are getting introduced to more nations now then it will only make it worse as both teams would be hunted by both their own or the enemys missiles at the same time.

On the topic of the thread though: honestly just add them like spikes where you lock a target before launch. Even if it’s unhistorical and unrealistic it’s as close as you can get without making an unbalanced mess and is close enough to where the majority probably wouldn’t complain.

At which point, I would just propose giving them IFF in light of that somewhat ahistorical fact caused by the MM to simulate the pre-programmed targets. Though I doubt LOAL modes will ever be added which is fine, Brimstone has a LOBL FnF mode, as does the AGM-114L

If Gaijin decides to add multispectral smoke to tanks I can see these style of weapons coming, if not I wouldn’t expect to see ARH air to ground missiles on rotor wing or fixed wing aircraft.

Crazy people think this would be balanced.

Truly American main moment.

Well, I’m not asking for it to have MMR, the reason why I brought it up is because the JAGM-MR could get the brimstone treatment and have IR+Laser. Should’ve clarified that.

That could be fair at 8 per airframe but 16 on one airframe still makes it the most powerful helicopter in the game by far.

With how top tier is currently implemented and the state of helis for the past 4 years, It would be unfair to say it has been balanced. For the longest time, KA52/KA50s have been wrecking havoc. Only until vikhrs nerfs and recently with the addition of spike missiles to helicopters, it kinda put the KA52s in check.

Whether Gaijin gives it 8 or 16, at the end of the day, calling it overpowered while turning a blind eye to the recent additions gaijin has introduced puts a sour taste in my mouth.

I’m by no means asking for it to have 16 (though keep in mind the Israeli blackhawk has 16 spikes), give it 8 JAGM-MR and give it 8 normal JAGM (laser with highly accurate IOG). Or just give it 8 JAGM-MR. If not, reduce it’s BR as it’s not worthy of being called 12.0 let alone being called top tier.

They need to do something, because at the moment, the Apache is one of the weakest helis at the moment

Or NATO vs Warsaw in GRB so we don’t have to worry much about TK with FnF brimstone except Swedish T-80U

Brimstone doesn’t have IFF.
NATO vs Warsaw would reduce teamkilling by a whopping zero.

I’m talking about real life don’t tell me you think Brimstone don’t have IFF irl?

IRL they also don’t have IFF.
There’s a reason that even AGM-114L use is restricted IRL when friendly vehicles are nearby.

The note here is, gaijin won’t implement LOAL

because gaijin favors russia and only gives russia smoke evading missiles.

and they are lying . hellfire missiles are already garbage, every fire & forget missile in the game is trash, look at how spikes are treated.

There are other smoke defying munitons TOWs an good example. But none that can track through smoke.

the khriztema has radar that tracks onto tanks through smoke.

You know what that is true but I can’t remember when the last time I died to one because it’s radar is just that bad.

most effective Irl helicopter is the most effective ingame helicopter? blasphemy!

you’ve never been shot at one thats sitting behind a smoke screen : /
