Why doesn't Italy get Romanian ship again?

So this is another precedent with Gaijin adding Romanian ship to the Soviet TT in the captured form instead of Italy, where Romania is located.

Lyogkiy served in Soviet Union for only a year, why don’t we get NMS Mărășești at the same time?

We still haven’t received the original version of NMS Regina Maria btw, she is only seized in the Soviet TT as Letuchiy trophy…

Should Italy get NMS Mărășești this update?

We need more Romanian ships for Italy and some Hungarian ones too. But I do agree they should add this ship to the Italian tech tree as the way it was when it was with Romania (if there were any changes when it was given to the USS4)

Compared to Aquila this version of the Vifor class destroyer seems to at least have the post first world war armament layout vs Aquila in her scout cruiser configuration (gaijin damnit re-rate it a cruiser, she’s listed as 1917 & the Italians called it a cruiser then).

Logically the Vifor class destroyer should be in the Italian tree as like the Regele Ferdinand class destroyer which also should be in the Italian tree, nothing has been changed from Romanian service to how they’re represented in the Soviet tree.

To bad this Lyogkiy couldn’t be the older Imperial Russian Leytenant Burakovclass destroyer from 1905 (ohh but not that would mean modelling something unique) or the much later Project 1135.3 Frigate of the same name.

Maybe because there are no cruiser spawn point for 3.3~4.0 battle

Russia stealing everyone elses boats again i see.

We have not forgotten about Royal Sovereign gaijin

“But they are needed since Russian naval trees are weak”
It would be great if we earned our R-class BB soon enough, but Gaijin didn’t.

Russias inability to actually produce a capable vessel is not a burden to lay in britains hands again. Royal Sov should have only been in the british tree. let russia cope with fake stuff while we actually have our own real fleets of history

I already don’t get why Artevelde wasn’t added to France but Germany. Why take a second subtree ship and add it to a different tree than the subs host?

It’s even stranger when both ships eventually returned to Belgium/Romania and served a bit iirc.

Sadly…

Historically accurate… 😭

They really should’ve added at least another R-Class BB within a year after Arghangelsk. But Gaijin simply just didn’t.

Belgian boat on German tree
British ship on soviet tree

And now
Romanian ship on soviet tree.

There was already a lot of such cases in this game,
including Yugure or Z4(both American) on Japanse and German tech tree

If we have enough replacement for own nation tree,
and they are added, I don’t think it is problem.

No one complaining about Geniere on Italy tree or Guichen on French tree, aren’t they

Iirc there’s around 27 more lend lease vessels that the USSR can get from the UK alone. I’m not sure what else the USSR got naval wise from other allies barring the PT-6 and Omaha class but it would be a bit funny if the total donated/captured fleet would rival the ww2 soviet fleet.

A problem happens when Gaijin simply forget to give a counterpart to the original nation

I won’t mind a Flower-class boat at French TT and such.

But Royal Sovereign is-

Also L9059 on French tree doesn’t have equivalent on British tree :(

Probably Gaijin think

“Brits have Fairmile LCS, so it might be fine”.

Anyway, nations sharing their vehicles, like Fletcher or Flower, sounds fine

But cases like Royal Sovereign and this case are quite frustrating, I guess.

This ship served:

  • 5 years in the Italian Navy
  • 40 years in the Romanian Navy
  • 1 year in the Soviet Navy
And, naturally, which one does Gaijin choose?

couldnt be any more blatant could it? Its very clear that it should have been in the italian tree

I deffo think the Tegetthoff Class would go well under Italian line as Austro-Hungarian ships (and therefore related to quite a few regions of Italy and Romania, as well as all of Hungary as it is a successor state). Could put other Austro-Hungarian cruisers and destroyers in with that as well.

But that would take gaijin listening to naval players and our ideas/desires.

Aye, honestly, it’s kind of strange that the Soviets are getting yet another Romanian ship, but Italy is again being ignored (despite having the Romanian Sub TT). I mean, I don’t mind them adding it to the Soviet TT, but I firmly think Italy should get one too, preferably in the TT. Same with Regale Ferdinand.

Meh, small cruisers should exists & could even keep their medium craft spawns imho, might as well be re-rated cruisers as a buff to DM compared to a destroyer with the limitations of just several cannons.

Logic error, SU/IR tree is now equal to the Ger tree in regards to captured warships.

SU/IR:

• Regele Ferdinand class destroyer

• Vifor class destroyer

• Condottieri series cruiser

• Conte di Cavour class Dreadnought Battleship

Ger:

• K class sloop

• cruiser Artevelde

• Minesweeper Zmaj

• Maraviev Amurskyy class cruiser

If we regard leased or export vessels

SU/IR:

• Project 1331M corvette

• Omaha class cruiser

• Revenge class Dreadnought Battleship

• Project 20 Destroyer (Italian built, sent to USSR).

Ger:

• Z1 class destroyer

• Type 103 destroyer

• Project 206 motor torpedo boat

• Project 50 frigate

• Nasty class motor torpedo boat

• Type 153 motor torpedo boat

Seems more like Germany is getting everyone’s stuff.

Wasn’t this seized before actually going to IR? I wouldn’t really count it as a capture if Elbing had never been given to IR.
