Why doesn't Italy get Romanian ship again?

Ehh it’s a blurry line to be perfectly honest, while not truly captured in the sense it’s taken post battle or conflict, I doubt the IR Gov got their money back & the vessel is pressed into service against their original supposed operators side.

If you wish, I could make a list of equipment requisitioned for military service by the country building them, although pretty sure Italy will be in top three. Heh Gaijin give the HMS Agincourt already (niche the British would have the most if such ships were all given to them).

Not to mention, the Germans radically redesigned the thing because its original form was a tad… odd for a Light Cruiser. But yeah, I think we should distinguish between Export designs (Project 20) and stuff requisitioned for service.

The funniest thing is that “Lyogkiy” in the Soviet TT even retains Romanian paint, so the addition of NMS Mărășești is just a matter of coping a few lines of code, it costs nothing to Gaijin, they don’t even need to change textures.

Aye, and I just saw a comment from Smin saying the devs don’t have any plans to add her to the Italian TT right now. It’s just wild that Italy is the home of the Romanian Sub TT, but the Soviets have more Romanian ships than the Italian TT.

I swear to God the entire Russian naval tree is just stolen ships

Their top tier is stolen British and Italian stuff, now they steal from Romania at low tier even when they don’t have to

Wait till you see their premiums for air. It’s all just lend lease!

I honestly don’t care much if other nations get trophies, I would be happy to get smth like Premuda for Italy for example, but with the fact that the original operator doesn’t get the ship, even despite said country has a home TT and considering this:

I just don’t understand why they don’t want to add the original NMS Mărășești into the Italian TT this update and I think I should mention it again, Lyogkiy vessel retains the original Romanian paint, so adding it as NMS Mărășești doesn’t require to make new textures, that’s just out of logic.

I can only think about some anti-Italian Navy bias, same as Littorio’s 45s aced reloading or better RoF of Minisini cannons on every Soviet ship compared to Italian.

Err cuz Rome and Romanian are 2 very different things?

Very intelligent joke I guess 👍
Romania is placed in the Italian TT, which has been confirmed by Smin multiple times.

Sorry, I have been trying to explain some obvious things to a brick wall and bought the attitude over, you know how the forum is, but I do apologies for bringing my frustration from one conversation into this one.
Has Romania actually been confirmed as an Italian sub tree? or just that they are getting citrine Romanian vehicles?
I read the:

But the same thing was said about Australian vehicles for a long time that it was “decided that Australia would be broken up to fill gapes in various nations” unfortunately they are now being rather vague on if nations are an official “sub-nation” or just being added to fill gaps due to “sub-nation” translating into some rather negative connotations in various languages.
However reading the ships history it would be more appropriate as an Italian vehicle under the same gaijin rules as the L2A4 CAN as it was build and modified in Italy for export, if the vehicles operator nation is not in game then it should default to the builder nation.

It’s not really the same thing. Romania hasn’t been officially called a subtree yes, but “Italy is its home nation” means that all Romanian stuff is added to Italian TT for now at least, so I don’t see any reason to block the addition of NMS Mărășești, even if it wasn’t built by Italy.

I agree, Smins comments are at the least highly suggestive that Romania is a subtree, and I already stated:

and it’s not like the Russian blue water tree is lacking at any point

And all they have to do is copy paste it with a rename, yet for some reason they can’t do that
