Why does the Su-30SM get R-77-1 while the F/A-18C is stuck with AIM-120B?

711 was… What before the Su-37? Pray tell, enlighten use. What was the Su-37 prior to 1999?

It proves the existence of the Su-35 that I’ve mentioned. From 1997-1999 it had the AL-31FMs and N011 that I’ve previously mentioned. Seeing as you want to nitpick exact airframes and their eventual uses…

Why would I? I don’t need to provide a source for blatant denialism, the Su-35 was a very distinct and entirely existent aircraft that you don’t know about. It’s entirely why you’re getting defensive and demanding proof of something entirely irrelevant to the topic.

Which, once again, is irrelevant to the topic.

nice picture of project 710 one of the prototypes/ testbeds for the Su-35 but not anything more

it is like saying we should have gotten the Eurofighter DA.7 instead of the Tranche one or two,
or for that matter the IPA.7 for germany instead of a normal tranche 2

It’s… Quite literally an Su-35. It is not one of the prototypes for the Su-35It is an Su-35.

Once again, what is better about the Su-35 than the Su-30SM?

The Eurofighter DA.7 is not an entirely different aircraft than the Tranche 1… I’m not going to entertain this childish and uneducated line of thinking.

Ok let me ask you something,
with what configuration went the Su-35 into serial production and then into service, you dont need to show me prototypes and testbeds, and even then those would be better than the Su-30 we have in game

The Su-35 was neither produced nor pushed into service… Once again, come back when you know enough to be worth two cents.

Third time now…

What would be better?

so why would we get it in game?
it was stated multiple times that we would get production variants in game
(a good example being the the IPA7 which german mains wanted instead of what they got rn)

Is artic being super pedantic and is referring to the Su-27M instead of the Su-35S we talk about constantly?

seems like he is talking about the Su-27M which is pointless,
because we wouldnt get that in the tech tree but a variant that entered service
they gonna keep something like that as a event/premium/squadron vehicle

I agree no point on discussing the 27M when the 35 is usually referring to the current 35S

For the same reason why we have the 1-of-4 Su-33 as a squadron vehicle or the 1-of-3.5 F-20A. There’s already a fictional Yak-141 in the line, so… What’s the problem with it being introduced? This isn’t a real-life-inator portal where every aircraft is added in proportion to their production figures.

Oh no, not an extra <2kN per engine! It’s quite literally 500kgf per engine… Could you describe exactly what difference that would make and how that would equal out the inferior radar, maneuverability, or defense suite?

you could have just said that you were talking about the pre production variants instead of being cryptic about it

Because you’re being really pedantic in referring the Su-35 as the Su-27M when it is basically common sense that they were talking about the Su-35S

Why respond to the comment discussing it then…

Sure we won’t, mr. Gaijin developer COO.

Why?

I… Did. I said Su-35 and Su-37. Anybody with half a brain would understand exactly what was meant by that.

normally when ppl talk about the Su-35 they talk about the Su-35S
not project 710

R-77-1 and AIM-120A/B are about the same, minor differences.

to get money just like with the F-18c early

Yeah, no. It’s normal for people to talk about the Su-35S by saying “I’m surprised the flat out skipped the Su-35S”.

The hell is “project 710”? Are we just resorting to making things up on the fly?

I looked up the one you were replying to, when ron said it’s better than the 30sm they were clesrly referring to the su-35s

Cause guess what, it’s the only type of Su-35 in active service

the T-10M-10 you literally sent a picture of it
