okay, then show some data to back up your schizo posting moment, at what speed does the Su-27SM outrates de block15? How many º/sec is it turning, how many is the F-16 doing at the same speed? Why is statsshark not reliable for you to compare in game data of FMs?
Eh tbf, he said on the dev server in his second post, which wouldn’t be on statshark quite yet. so it could be different.
Didnt saw that, he should have used the correct category
true
Why? even Su-30sm its on Statshark.
No, I meant I was testing stuff on the dev, realised the su-27 did 23 sustained and went to check on the live. The buff was some time ago actually
dude its all writen on my post
Statshark is not accurate because it doesn’t match the real game results100%. WTRTI is more effective since you test in-game with real time data
Altrough I wouldnt use statshark because of its inaccuracies, it also says there that the su-27 has better sustained turn rate after 700kph.
It’s funny that you post that trying to disprove me lol
I don’t know how to record the WTRTI overlay over the game instance. I’m sure there’s a way, but I can’t be bothered to install and test recording software. All I use to record is the Nvidia overlay.
I’ll try with RTSS later but now I don’t have the time.
Su-27 IRL is more maneuverable than F-16. What surprises you? Sukhoi created a plane with an amazing airframe that gives great maneuverability
but I’m not seeing any of your topics asking to nerf this, or questioning the EF, Rafale, or f15a, gripen, f16 block 10/15 fms…
yeah i agree with that, but there is no data to prove that the su27sm with AL-31FM1 engines is overperforming, it should in fact be better than the base su27
gaijin apparently can’t model the drag of the wt planes accurately without leaving one part overperforming or other part underperforming, for example, everything I could find about the su27 put its oswald efficiency at something between 0.60 and 0.70, in war thunder it’s still only 0.54 :D
you can find some stuff here for that :P
I’ve complained about the first F-16 FM change which was years ago, they started nerfing its STR and buffing 1C performance because people cried that thr f16 couldn’t pull enough Gs
Yes I understand, but isn’t general consensus that the f16 has an edge at high speed sustained turn rate? Which become obsolete with high off bore IR missiles anyway.
even when the f16 couldn’t pull enough Gs, the f16a at the time could beat the 29 at low speeds, people just needed to slow down and use the 2 braincels needed to beat the 29, but well, what ended up happening was that the 29 got a big nerf that took 1 year to “fix” and the f16a remained the best possible dogfighter in 1c, 2c, it was only when the gripen was added that the f16A fm had something to compete with and then the EF and rafale which are just better
You can create graphs with WTRTI.
Or directly save .CSV files and generate your own graphs.
Su-27 is better than F-16 even in sustained turn.
Also TVC missiles in WT work poorly, turning into a spinner
I assume I need 3 variables in the graph, the Specific Excess Power, Sustained Turn Rate and IAS speed. Right? I think the graph only allows 2, and without SEP there’s no way you guys know if I’m doing the turns properly instead of going over or below the sustained turn rate.
Merging 2 different graphs would be a pain
