No it isn’t.
YEs it is! Less than 20 almost never give you an “Ammunition exploded” death screen. And with full armanment it starts appearing pretty regularly.
Citation needed.
M1s can store more than 20 rounds in their turret bustle.
Sure! But damage made to ammunition storage varies on how many shots were stored there. More shots = more damage recieved.
Again, citation needed.
M1A1 HC’s cheeks are immune to DM53 at point blank range head-on.
The Leo 2A5’s turret wedges can also be knocked off, at which point it’s turret cheeks become weaker than those of the M1A1 HC.

This kind of stuff annoys me.
It takes but 10 seconds to load up the game and verify whether this is actually true, yet you could not be bothered to do that little.

UFP of a 2A5 is also a weakspot. The upper glacis and lower glacis of the Leopard 2A5 combined make for a notably larger vulnerable areas than that of the M1’s hull.
We’ve once again arrived at: It takes but 10 seconds to load up the game and verify whether this is actually true, yet you could not be bothered to do that little.
Why are you even arguing about these vehicles when you don’t know anything about them?
Which is pretty much pointless ever since commander’s thermals were no longer tied to the binoc view.
…
Once again: Why are you even arguing about these vehicles when you don’t know anything about them?
Don’t get me wrong, it’s 100% fine if you’re not knowledgeable on a subject, I just don’t understand why you’d make all kinds of claims that are obviously not true.
ESS is Engine Smoke System, it allows the M1’s to deploy smoke and then utilize thermal sights to kill people through said smoke, it’s a majorly important trick that any top-tier MBT with ESS can use.
Leopards don’t have this feature.
Yet you claimed the turret cheek armour performance was a significant enough difference?
You can’t cherry-pick stuff at this point, either you accept that both the turret cheeks and reverse speeds matter despite their minor differences, or neither of them count.
Which is very few.
Also, that brings me to the M1A1 having a larger ready rack supply.
It is not.
Don’t start making up nonsense please.
That, I agree.
and vulnerable from 500m within 10 to 15 degree angle.
Fair enough, still they offer better protection for several first shots at the very least. Most of the time it either enough or then enemy has a better shot.
Why not the “penetration map”?)
Not so much as it does have a habit to bounce shots. But i can agree with that.
How would you verify a damage within 10 seconds?
DM53s behavious is entirely my subjective opinion, as the pen they have is basically the same with L44 cannon.
Nope. I never use the optic themals where i can use commander`s. Especially when both M1 and 2a5 have worst possible scope thermals, but 2a5 has pretty good commander’s. I love M1A2 more than HC for that sole reason.
I dont know what the term means. I am from Russia, thus i know russian terminology.
ESS is called ТДА in russian, and has even different words in it.
Thats fair
Yes, because 2a5 stays unpennable within 45* angles, and M1 becomes pennable within 15.
uuuugh, it sure is, but it is just enough. Sometimes it lacks but most of the time its just enough.
They don’t.
Even without wedges they can stop DM53 from point blank, why are you spreading misinformation?
Skill issue
and heat-vt or how its called. 1400 m/s multi purpose proxy fuze heat-fs. Nothing funnier than beachslapping a close range jet zooming over the ao thinking nothing can react quick enough. or careless helis. Insane vs spaa and lightly armored vehicles too and nice little minigame when you have some downtime in an area of the map with little ground action. Abrams are the only mbts in game that can do that, yet not one seems to use it. Its like the arty proxy fuze he minigame but youre in a mbt with 40°/sec turret traverse and 24°/sec elevation and a proxy fuze dart (considering the insane speed of that round)
This is sad cope Abrams has some of the easiest armour to pen in the game. Quit rage baiting.
SEPv3 should be 12.7 because of Iron Fist or Trophy, what ever it has.
For the OP just play Russia everything they have is better at top tier or at least Gaijin gives them a tool for every job. They are the Nation that get under tiered the most and brought up years later.
except of tanks.
Firstly, that’s not even true. There’s quite a number of MBT’s which are significantly more vulnerable.
Secondly, so don’t get hit in the first place? Allowing your opponents to spot you before you spot them is a recipe for disaster, regardless of what tank you’re using. That argument also screams poor positioning.
The basic M1A1 at 11.7 is already superior to any MBT in the Russian tech tree, let alone an M1A2 SEP.
Besides, it’s not like you would know given that you don’t play a single Russian 12.7 MBT (or any Russian MBT above 10.7 for that matter).
BMPT is hands down the most powerful tank in the game right now.
I fail to see what that has to do with anything I said.
Leo2a7, Strv 122 B+, Strv 122 PLS, Strv 122, Type 10, TKX, M1a2, M1a2SEP, M1a2SEPv2, T80BVM, T90M, Leo2a7HU, VT4A1 and OPLOT are all ears and would like to know more…
Yes they are all inferior to the BMPT.
Convenient to ignore the most powerful tank in the game. Those heat maps are bogus too, those T-series have some of the trolliest volumetrics in the game. It’s as old as the IS6 when Bias was first introduced in ground.
My rare Top tier Russian tanks feel like I’m cheating honestly. It doesn’t matter that they’re not 12.7 I play them at 11.7 with the Rare event Su25 and they still mop up easy, makes no difference if I see 12.7 in them. Just don’t be seen in the first place.
Yeah they surely all struggle to take out targets at medium to long ranges and oneshot anything at close range in brawls. I also struggle to find the BMP-T in your played vehicles so I’m sure youre bringing tons of first hand experience to the discussion.
