I checked both turret cheeks wirh the L27A1. The challenger 2 avaraged around 703 while challenger 3 avaraged around 684. Isn’t it supposed to be an upgrade? Why does it have weaker armor?
Cause the chally 3 is higly classified and we know little to no information about it, and gajin just estimates armour, but in this case i have no idea why they didn’t just give it the same armour or atleast a tiny bit better armour

It also has better hull. Doesn’t it use a challenger 2 hull. Why is it better?
Challenger 2 is a fully combat ready vehicle. With all its armour (though poorly modeled) and features such as turret spall liners.
Challenger 3TD is an extremely early prototype that has none of its intended survivability features (LWS, ERA, Armour, Spall liners and I think blowout panels. let alone more advanced additions like APS). The latest version of the Challenger 3 (which is yet not finished) would be at minimum on par with the top tier MBTs in game, if not on-par with the next gen of MBTs yet to be added

Does it? I thought they used the same hull. So they should be the same, but the CR3(TD) has none of its intended addon armour

Its probably a modeling error. Iirc, the CR3 has a wierd amalgam of old CR2 stats and random new stats. Both the CR2 and CR3 are poorly modeled vehicles

Yep, it should be very good… Though Gaijin being Gaijin. Might be able to compete with a T-34

CR3 is using the old CR2 damage model still. if you go into the armour view mode you can see it doesnt even line up.
Gaijin also completley buggered the modelling up on everything else the vehicle has
