Same reason the Germans don’t have their Leopard 1A2 and the Soviets don’t have a T-90S.
Different engines, different dorsal gunner, mounted forward gun are just the obvious differences.

Who cares if a nation “Does not need” something? It’s a copy paste job and they are fine using copy paste slop tactics to give updates filler. Except in this case, its a historical german vehicle thats just not in the german tree.
What even constitutes whether a nation “needs” something of their own origin?

Ask Smin, thats the response he gave me about the Finnish Hawks and the B3C about last year. Dont hate the messenger, i should’ve bookmarked our conversation like i do nowadays but i didn’t so if you don’t believe me thats fine. Again ask Smin as hes about the only one who can asnwer that question.

TL;DR:
Germany designed the Ju 86, but never used it meaningfully. Sweden did — they built it, upgraded it, and kept it in active use for over 20 years. In War Thunder, it also fills a critical gap in Sweden’s early game where no other heavy bombers exist. For Germany, it would just be another outdated low-tier plane. For Sweden, it’s very much vital.
However yes it would be easy to add to germany with some changes-

It is very silly for them to say that. There are so many vehicles in this game that have never seen actual combat service. Ju 86 at least saw some service, heck it was even used in the failed Stalingrad supply operation.

The version in game is the Swedish modification that was not used by Germany. They used a different modification, so its not the same.
Rewarding the Hawk 75, this is a rare event vehicle. So thats why it wont be added for standard research (at least that specific modification that already exists in the German tree, much like the Finnish Kv-1).
