Currently, among the aircraft in the game equipped with NCTR, it seems that only the Su-30SM has the functionality to display the specific model of a targeted enemy aircraft directly on its HUD.
However, other top tier jets that are also equipped with NCTR, such as the F/A-18C Late, F-15E, Eurofighter Typhoon, and JAS 39 Gripen, do not seem to have this feature on their HUDs. When locking a target, they only show standard targeting information without identifying the aircraft type.
This leads to a few advantage in SB.why the Su-30SM has this unique capability while other NCTR-equipped aircraft do not?
how is the NCTR capability of aircraft like the F/A-18C, F-15E, Typhoon, and Gripen meant to be utilized in Simulator? Without a direct HUD indication, what is the game mechanic for player to use their radar’s NCTR?
In RB,the aircraft type is automatically displayed in screen when a target is locked. Are pilot are “Newtype” and use psychic powers to use NCTR and get this information? lmao
