Why does naval battles always loose network connection

I have a decent fibre line, but can nearly never complete a naval battle (especially if my team is winning) before I get Bad Network Connection and then the game exits.

Well, first of all, it has nothing to do with your team winning or losing.

Naval has a lot more going on than most matches in other modes. There are a LOT more guns going
off all over the place, rounds to be calculated as to where they are going, whether they hit or not
and then the damage they may or may not do . . . . that’s a lot of stuff happening pretty much the whole game.

So it seems pretty obvious, all this may be a bit more taxing on the game as it is working much harder for naval battles usually.
And just like other modes, every player is in a different location, has different hardware and internet services, so . . . all things considered, naval can be a handful.

Not being a “techie” I cannot tell you what exactly can cause the “Bad Network Connection” warning,
but . . I have a routine that really helps me out a lot when it happens to me.

When I see that msg, I immediately close the game and restart it from the launcher.
Almost every time I do this, the game asks me if I would like to return to the battle. I ofc click yes.

Unless the game has ended already, I get back in and for some reason, I always have a much better
connection than when I left. I have no idea how or why this works, but it does . . a majority of the time. (Sometimes it’s not just your connection and the match can go wonky and crash . . you cannot return if that happens, but that is much more rare it seems like)

You can hit “Escape” and then the “X” in the upper right, ALT+ F4, or I have kept the Task Mgr open and used that to close WT as well . . . whichever you can do faster and is easy for you should work.

Give that a try next time you get the Bad Connection Warning and see if it helps you out any.

You can save/finish your match, not lose anything using a booster . . it all comes back.

Same here - but also inevitably a lot of players from both sides do not rejoin and become sitting ducks!
