Why does LMUR just give up tracking

LMUR just gives up tracking any plane and never hits them

The jet moved outside of the LMUR’s gimbal limit.

I think this is happening because the LMUR wants to loft more than the AMG179.

ahhh ok that makes sense its so annoying there have been so many matches where LMUR would have killed a plane if it didn’t just stop tracking last second. The LMURS loft is so annoying at close range

The loft helps it a lot against ground targets so it is a give and take.

that’s true but also having a 20kg explosive warhead means anywhere hit on a tank 1 hits it lol
