With every premium Gainjin adds they shape the game to it’s liking ot a certain poin. I have simply gotten to the point where i cannot play Germany the way it should be it’s not just germany but with any other nations and it’s almost impossible to play certain tanks with the current meta. For an example Ganjin removed air battles [historical missions] where you actually felt like you mattered it was a battle not fictional but historical and with a purpose these days you just spawn in fly around nonsensely shoot a bit or bomb targets with no other purpose than to be bombed. It is simply Gainjin wants money ofc it’s normal but sometimes i feel it’s gotten to the point of removing tanks or moving them to different BR putting stuff nonsensely OP behind a pay wall that way you have tanks from WW2 facing tanks from late cold war and it’s done simply because then you’ll go “Fucking game” and with every death you get inclined to buying new things “Well i’ll be good because of this vehicle” or “The progress is soo long, i’ll just buy it” or “Well this is op i’ll buy since there’s nothing to counter it” i’m not saying it’s a bad thing there is a lot of great things but i think for example Tiger would withstand multiple shots t othe front and these days it’s just like if a mosquito tried getting trough the skin. Why can’t we get missions like “Bomb these targets and the fighters have protect the bombers” while hte other team has a mission to intercept them. I mean keep i nthe new things but i think bringing new “Historical” Game mode would be fun and besides if Gainjin is concerned about it “not being fair” in reality it isn’t fair a tank counters this tank and this counters this you need more than just armor and a cannon you need strategizing and etc. and people would just choose between normal [current] gamemode or the Historical, like we have Simulator, Arcade etc. picks. This is my question / suggestion or whatever i know it’s probably never to even come across some mind but please give me feedback and if a mod sees this please don’t ban me

Well, fundamentally war thunder has gone from being a WW2 focused game, to a modern focused one, purely through demographics, those who genuinely care for low tiers in this game are better off leaving to play one of the other WW2 focused military vehicle games, because as much as you lot make noise, the profit incentives for gaijin and demographics don’t care for that criticism.

Tech tree vehicles are free to get.
Historical battles were removed almost a decade ago now.
History and realism are not the same thing either.
I haven’t played a single vehicle from 1.0 - 6.7 that was “impossible to play” other than Jumbos due to 2.7 compression.

For the same damage models as war thunder, but slightly different gameplay then Enlisted
For the sim air prop experience you have some DCS communities, but mainly IL-2 Sturmovik
For naval there are a few choices, some notable ones for submarines too like Uboat
For the sim ground community, there is the tank side of hell let loose
For more arcadey tank combat, then battlefield V (not great) or WOT
Same advice i give to other german mains.
Your tiger cant simply hold W and bounce rounds.
You have the advantage of a great gun and workable armor. You dont have to attack everything headon. Try flanks or sniping.

I don’t know what problems do you face with German WW2 vehicles because they have pretty good lineups till 8.0. Panthers, Tigers, Pz 4. etc…
If you want historical battles, you could play Hell let loose, its a great WW2 game in my opinion, where you can play as soldiers on the ground, in tanks and planes
I don’t think that money has something to do with that. We had historical battles when there were just 5 countries. Year after year more trees were added, You understand by yourself that matchmaking needed to be totally reworked. While I agree that mission objectives are a bit boring now, ww2 vehicles are still playable and fun.
