Why does Gaijin keep adding post-WWII vehicles at lower BRs?

To keep it balanced…

I don’t think playing the Strv M/31 facing IS-3’s would be fun now, would it.

I don’t think trying to hit the flat top of an MBT that’s moving will be fun (with a 155 howizer)

I often get one-shotted by these SPH. fr

You’ve obviously never played as the SPH then, they are, not fun at all, other than the BKAN, which can be fun if you have trigger discipline.

I already said there are exceptions, haven’t I?

Yet again ^^”

Go try a Type 75 or 99, or the 109’s and then you’ll know why.

balancing really.

If you as a Maus are getting one-shot by 15Xmm HE then that’s impressive.
I’ve yet to die to HE as a Maus, and I’ve yet to see anyone in-match frag a Maus with HE.

I’d implore you actually use one of these howitzers.
KV-2, the 1.0 German one, M109, and see for yourself how difficult the tactics are with them.

I’ve played some of them, but not all. Sometimes it’s a nuke launcher, other times it’s a pea shooter.

I can provide a replay if you’d like.

That’s my point. Even on kill shots it does nothing sometimes.

It’s up for debate

Is it justified to place them at a low BR? Any further reasoning?

You add something that uses 1930s technology and it sits at 6.3 BR due to its effectiveness.
Yeah, it’s fine.
Age of the vehicle =/= age of the technology.

Elaborate

I think the real problem here is the overpressure mechanic which I can say is broken in the game that makes SPH can easily one shot kill any heavy tanks.

Hmmmm I see, the problem is Gayjin!!!

m56 vs t55 who wins?

War thunder is long past the time of being a historically accurate game it has sacrificed the historical accuracy for balance which is a good move in my opinion

You read all of them or just some of them?

And bad move at the same time imo
