Disclaimer, I started the game with Germany and loyal with it. This is a kinda my crying article that hopefully somehow Gaijin DEV team can see. This is a long passage.

Next Update RUS gets an SU-34 and US gets an F15E, Congratulations to them. But I would like to ask WHERE THE HELL IS THE BETTER CAS-JET FOR GERMANY！

Its really non sense if you think about it. Germany being one of the top 3 played Nation, have to be treated in this way. When US and RUS get a heavily CAS focused jet and Germany gets none about it.

You see, After the IDS ASSTA 1, you can have ASSTA 2 ASSTA 3. Where the F are those JDAM munitions？ Even Wikipedia mentioned the Tornado IDS ASSTA 3 has upgraded to be capable of using JDAM and improved avionics.

Yes, The F18 will come eventually, it really helps out. But that’s gonna happen in next next update. Germany couldn’t have JDAM for 2 completed updates, is that a joke？

So, is it really fair to do so？ Giving Germany that little Luchs with a piss gun is fair enough？OSA is good but the Luchs definitely can swap into a better CAS jet. Tornado IDS has been in a weak and non-efficient CAS jet position for a long time. No matter its weaponry or its BR in GAB / ARB.

Compared to those AGM or Kh29T, laser-guided bombs are too risky when facing 2s6 or Pantsir S1. When the bomb almost arrives, you are 5 to 6 km distance from the field already and become delicious food for them or even normal AA. Germany lack of useful CAS !

Now let’s look at the sub-trees. I would say Germany is losing its uniqueness by time to time. I believe most of the players join the game and pick Germany as their first Nation are because of those famous WWII Na_i Germany vehicles and Leopard 2 family.
Please notice that I’m not trying to argue they are or are not under/over-performing, but the fact of its uniqueness.

Next update France will be given the iconic Leopard 2A4 2A5 2A6 through sub-trees of Benelux. I mean, please. On what earth would the lovely France need 2A4 5 6 if they have their own well-developed MBT tech trees already？ Yes Leclerc has its own problem and maybe demonstrate an underperforming situation in top-tier GRB (I haven’t played France’s yet so idk much but I do notice some of the opinions about Leclerc).

Well then Gaijin JUST FIX IT！ Stealing featured tanks from Germany and giving them to France WON’T FKING SOLVE THE PROBLEMS. Besides there isn’t any justice reason to bring F16 to France based on France’s Mirage Family is very well built and doing excellent maneuvers in ARB, not even mentioning they will have the mighty Rafale in the future. F16 is a really good solution to Germany for its post-war Aviation trees, yet Gaijin simply disregard it anyway。

The same cases can be applied to Sweden or maybe even Italy. Swedish Strv 122B+ is better or equal to the 2A7. All the stuff is similar even the exterior. It doesn’t make sense to give them a worse version of their own MBTs. Italy cases make a bit of sense since I believe the Ariete MBT isn’t competitive enough in top-tier GRB, I would not argue the 2A7V HU is the best 2A7V or not since it is just a conceptual difference between with or without that .50 MG. They need a good and competitive MBT, so it makes sense at all. I would even say it was a good move to benefit them.

If a new player or someone asked me if there was any reason to play in Germany, I would say no. To be honest there isn’t any pride to start playing Germany, for those suffering and grinding. Germany isn’t that unique already, lack of CAS and competitive jets (currently). If one’s idea is to enjoy the game, why would he or she pick Germany and start over?

In case someone reads till the end. Thank you. I know people will agree or disagree with my words, but I just wanted Gaijin to make things right. If you agree with it, please push the post to let Gajin know our thoughts.

I love those block of text of people hoping someone in the developer team would actually read and change something based on this.

Gaijin could add domestic French vehicles, yes they could but they didn’t, instead added the mini Germany, separated state from the Deutsch territory: Dutch, which in military scenario, shares the same or almost the same technology to Germany.

Germany itself, in-game already got enough vehicles, still has the solid Leopard 2A6, PSO and now Leopard 2A7V, those 3 are good vehicles.

But yes I support, despite not playing Air, the addition of the F/A 18 Super Hornet to Germany IF USA also get it as well, the introduction of cruiser weapons like the Grom-2 is the next step for advanced CAS and probably the F/A 18 Super Hornet will have it as well, also the Rafale as you mentioned.

I actually have a lot of sympathy for Germany given the leopard situation because the same thing is happening to the US air tree. I think Gaijin needs to chill with adding more vehicles to the “minor” nations, with the exception of Japan and Israel. France, Italy, and Sweden were artificially made very strong for what they are.

If I were going to recommend a tree to a beginner, it would definitely be one of those three, which is crazy given it would have been the exact opposite three years ago.

It, idk, doesn’t exist, also, it’s not like the Zuni Mk32 on the F-4 is bad, at all. Next option is going to be the Typhoon, which will probably be a while.

Gen, idk, 2-3 thermals at 7.3 is amazing, the cannon is lackluster, but taking out helicopters and planes, as well as the fact it’s a recon/scout car, not a frontal assault vehicle.

Germany is a great nation and there is a lot of unique content that can come in the future, I don’t know where this presumption that Germany is dead comes from. FA-18/Eurofighter will find its way to the game eventually, same with all the Leopards that Germany could receive in the future that will make it unique. I agree that top tier German air is pretty much dead and in dire need of a CAS jet though.

I would not say it’s dead, but losing its uniqueness. We are up to 2a7 only, imagine how many months would it take to have 2a7+ smth like that. Up to now, 2a456 has been shared with others, and somehow like 75% of it is no longer special.

As if this isn’t a good loadout to run CAS? Loads of ZUNI, MM, Mav. G’s, and massive bombs, + ARH’s.

France would probably be the best out of those three.Italy has some solid planes, but also many overtiered ones, and Swedish air is incredibly mid for most of the tree. All the domestic Swedish prop fighters are overtiered or have some other issue. Early jets are ok, but there are better nations in that regard.

It’s good but nowhere near as good as other nations which have more guided ordinance, better airframes, etc.

Can confirm, every plane has a different playstyle, and since the (btw check the manuals of the JA37) wrong FM nerf on the Viggens makes them a pain. Only 170k off the Gripen A rn tho.

Sir no offense but we are living in 21th century i believe, sure dump bombs or rockets can do a similar job but why do we still forced to use ways like the 80s 90s. :)

Absolutely agree with that, but it’s still not bad. F-15E is going to be, absolutely game breaking by the way.

The F-4F ICE is dropping to 13.0. It is going to be one of the most OP aircraft in game and is going to so totally dominate 12.0-13.0 sim bracket that its going to be unplayable for Bluefor.

That is a massive buff.

Last year, Tornado F3 was given a higher BR in Sim purely so that it would never be playable and was forced into constant uptiers. It was like that for its first full year, ICE, gets a MASSIVE buff after 3 months.

Tornado F3 Late, not moving, Sea Harrier FA2, not moving, but german ICE, moves. Total BS and proof that Gaijin has MASSIVE bias for Germany. They have a meta ground line-up that most nations dream of being able to match. They have a naval line-up most nations dream of being able to match. They may lack a true top tier fighter, but ICE is now heavily meta aircraft that will dominate in downtiers. Phantom FGR2 vs Phantom F-4F ICE is defo a fair fight.

More like 50’s 60’s, we’ve had guided munitions, technically since WWII, didn’t really become standard, still doesn’t null that the Mk.32 FFAR are one of if not the best UNGR in game, followed closely by the arak m/70

Thermals do nothing but increase the BR, that’s the same as the Wiesel, at the ranges you can attack with these vehicles thermal doesn’t do anything.
