3 crew members and autoloader is almost exposed,meaning chance to die is pretty high
Also its borderline unusable in its current form
The playing alone thing I feel like has to do with youtubers like Spookston. They see him perform one almighty flank and don’t understand the mechanics of how he did that and the situation, so the just go off alone trying to kill the enemy team and get vanquished.
I have never taken any action that has resulted in the death of another human being

Horrible balancing. + Addendums on the next marks:
Urban CQB works reliably with Russian tanks on good hands.
Their UFPs are easy to whiff shots on any dart that isn’t M829A2/DM53s.
Add how overmodelled is inside and its volumetrics and the tank can swallow shells that shouldn’t be withstanding IRL.
This, along the LMUR, Kh38s,—even— BUKs and the aforementioned BMPTs makes Russia absurdely self-sufficient at literally any other aspect that isn’t MBTs, and turns out to be very toxic on balance because the 2nd best stuff to any of those things are not necessarily stacked on another nation altogether.
That along the fact even the SM-SV can even be played as a glorified Gepard at top tier and you start to know why playing against Russia tends to be so obnoxious, every vehicle a player throws at you is as toxic to deal as the last one.

I was agreeing with you by pointing out how on the Type 10/90 they hyper focus on the reload and disregard its lack of armour, but if you mention the Abrams reload all of a sudden it having slightly worse armour than the Leo2 justifies the faster reload.

All my Abrams at 12.0+ has 60ish percent winning rate except for one SEP, and I don’t have CAS and my best SPAA at top tier is actually the M247 lol and to be honest, I just sit in one spot camp and kill them until I smell they start spawning pantsirs only I start moving to their spawn for free foods. If I can see them from 1-2km away I will just continue to sit to farm the kills, Abrams are very good at this because the turret has sufficient armor to stop the 3bm60 u less you overexposed.

The issue is Russian mbts have a low skill floor and low skill ceiling
Forgiving for bad players but doesn’t offer you much in terms of versatility due to the restrictions that the bad reverse, depression, reload and gun handling on all MBTs (besides T-90M and T-80BVM) put on you.
MBTs like the Abrams have a relatively high skill floor, punishing mistakes more but are so much more versatile once you actually learn how to make use of their strengths.
US mains genuinely just suffer from skill issue, while RU mains are over-reliant on the lower skill floor of their vehicles.

It’s better kinematically than nearly any other multi-vehicle SAM system, its only drawback is the lack of any type of IR missile.
the BUK/S1 combo was already good enough to deal with anything the current matchmaker throws at you, but some lead developer is just a chud russian main.
War Thunder’s current winrates are proof that the current “balance” around skill floors and ceilings has been broken for quite a while now, skill in a vacuum is irrelevant.
it still is an incredibly mid vehicle.
you can just multipath it, it’s huge and once you get close there’s nothing it can do to you.
