T3485 (zis53) is really miserable. BVVD has never provided the turret with “variable thickness armor”, which makes its actual protection far inferior to the T3485 (d5T) in 5.3. It only reduces the loading speed by 0.9 seconds and has to be lifted to a high position of 5.7 to confront more advanced enemies
After the addition of the Eastern Tiger and Italian Tiger to the game, it became even more apparent that the T3485 was targeted because the 85 cannon could no longer penetrate the old weak points of the Tiger tank’s armor. Any Tiger tank player with a little bit of intelligence would easily defeat the T3485
Not to mention the foul smelling environment of 5.7, which makes USSR players and USA players constantly deal with things like Tiger King tanks, and equally difficult opponents have 5 weights of 6.7 in Germany
Do you know how it feels when you can’t even penetrate the side of the Tiger King when using M4A3E2? Do you know what it feels like when you use T3485 to try to block an enemy and suddenly a Tiger King tank rushes out and throws all your shells away?
USSR was even worse off. They had hoped for a savior to save them, but Is2 (1944) turned out to be useless
If the situation does not improve, the T3485 gifted during the Victory Day event may only be a small snack for Tiger tanks
At present, the game gives me an illusion that the Germans in World War II stopped the Soviet attack with thousands of tiger tanks, and then won the war
And Soviet tanks are expensive and useless garbage, while German tanks are solid and cheap goods
But germaney suffers, you should understand
Its so hard to fight against jumboey, just imagine the suffering germon main is experiencing when facing tank he cannot penetrate in the center of mass…
I admit that M4A3e2 does have an advantage over Tiger tanks at a very close distance, but M4A3e2 is more designed to block Tiger tanks because Black Panther and Soviet tank destroyers can penetrate M4A3e2
The Tiger tank is obviously more adept than the M4A3E2 in facing most opponents, and it is not impossible for the Tiger tank to completely defeat the M4A3E2. You can try to break through the commander’s tower and the machine gun mouth of the M4A3E2
Issue i have is the IS-1, that tank is fine in downtier and when fighting its own BR but in uptier, unlike T-34/85s, it doesnt have the mobility neccesary for flanking the big cats.
All of your T3485s have not reached 3kd, however, my T3485d5t has a KD of 3.6.
There is not a significant performance difference between the two T3485, as the protection of the d5T is better than that of the Zis53, and the KD of my d5T is very similar to that of my two Tiger tanks, indicating that this is normal
I don’t think you are a player who really wants to speak up for the USSR. In order to provide a better experience for the Tiger, Germany players often don’t want to see USA or USSR stronger than them, and even won’t tolerate any factors that could threaten the survival of their powerful tanks
I don’t play the T-34-85 very often as the only one I have is in my Swedish 6.7 lineup, but I have been playing a lot more 5.7 as I was grinding the German tech tree
I personally think the HVSS Shermans are better than the Jumbos, first off, and second: 5.7 is currently a really awkward BR to play because the gap between 5.7 and 6.7 tech-wise is so large. 6.7 is quite possibly the most populated BR currently as well, so every match of 5.7 is seeing Tiger IIs. It sucks because where 5.7 is as a BR, you’re either really good or really mid at your BR, only to become almost completely useless every match.
I have found in my time though, it is much easier to kill US vehicles with the T-34 than it is to kill German tanks. On the Tiger II H, your only real spot to hit is the turret roof, and that will only penetrate if your gun is good enough, something the 85mm will just bounce off of, forcing you to hit a shot from the side, only to have the Germanium sideskirts eat your round, the side bounce your round into the stratosphere, or the track armor on the back of the turret to disintegrate your round.
Pretty much: 5.7 shouldn’t be seeing 6.7 as often as it is.
5.7 is recovering a little bit though as too many people are playing 6.7 so many have moved to 7.3, locking 6.7 in an uptier loop currently
I support you. Nobody want to see his T-34-85 fighting Tiger 2 s. I don’t want my IS-2 (1944) fighting PzH 2000s either. (I killed an up-tiered Jumbo with my -2 (1944), it was cruel)
so? should i take that you think if i dont have 3 K.D on 34/85 i cant speak about my experience playing it?
I have no clue where are you going with this point.
All i said is that 34/85 perform fine friend. Even your very own stats suggest so. If they did not perform at least fine, you wouldnt reach your current K/D.
Bullseye.
German are too though.
Could you answer me the question as well.
Why does Jumbo Sherman has to face is-2 with 122mm cannon?
Why does Tiger 1 has to face a jumbo pershing? T34, etc.
Answer is pretty simple. They’re all just too strong if they don’t. Same with 34-85. Pretty mobile, good cannon. Trolly enough armor for a medium tank.
I keep saying this, but somehow people are also convinced the T-34-85 is even better than the M4A3 (76), lol. Now people also say a stabilized T-34-85 will be 6.0 or even 6.3-worthy.
To be honest the T-34-85 is actually pretty good at 5.7, I have a 4:1 K:D in the T-34-85E. I think mostly people just play it wrong, you’re supposed to flank with it. But to be honest I think it might just be performing well for me because German mains are so bad.
The APCBC shell is quite good in terms of post penetration damage and the mobility is pretty good too.
Since that’s the case, can’t I explain my thoughts on ‘your ideas’?
If T3485ZIS53 is the same as T3485d5T in 5.3, I would say that ZIS53 is an excellent vehicle, but in 5.7 it means encountering stronger enemies, and compared to d5T, the progress of ZIS is completely insignificant.
My T3485zis53 only has around 2kd, which you may think is very high, but everyone’s skills are different. Most of the vehicles I am currently using have 2-3kd, so this does not mean that T3485 is a good vehicle.
