are you playing on a virtual machine?

i use windows, but not a virtual machine.
Restart your pc, close everything else but war thunder and try again. If that doesnt work try to verify the integrity of your game files if you play on steam.

See if it happens again or more regularly, it may be yet another janky glitch in the game code or servers.
Yesterday I joined a match and only four players (two each side) spawned in, everybody else was showing as just not there, thought about just leaving the match and then all of a sudden everyone else just starts popping in.It is not a very stable game or has stable servers.
You’ve skipped a lot of checks to come to that conclusion.
A big question is whether the OP uses antivirus as that can stop the anticheat working the way it should.

Not particularly this is a big problem with a lot of things that interact, nobody is interested in that interaction so very little works properly, especially in the realms of computing, and problems occur that really should not.
You mentioned an antivirus, a good example the anti cheat software is intrusive enough that the anti virus sees it as a threat, or the anti cheat software sees the antivirus software as some form of cheating. So the OP has to change his anti software or disable it potentially leaving them open to more malicious actions, simply because no one has bothered to see how things interact.
Yes there are far far too many different companies making all this stuff so it is very difficult to do this, and all the onus is put on the person who probably knows very little if anything about what is going on or how to solve the problem, just another sorry state of affairs on this dying planet.

No, it’s the question needs to be asked before making out it’s all about the game.
What even is this that you’re going on about?
Of course the user has to self-diagnose, and figure out what the issue actually is compared to just jumping into a thread, making out it’s anything and everything to make out that the game needs fixing?
So the user has to do all the work while the actual problem lies not with them, anti cheat has been a problem for a long time regarding its access to and level of intrusion into the critical components of a computer and its running. None of use have idea what they are actually doing inside our computers and what is happening to any data as they routinely ignore any compliance they have to follow and are often themselves subject to hacks.
As it is we all are aware of how many problems the game has, even as I type there is once again problems with the servers, same old same old Gaijin.
To try and put it in its simplest terms, people are here to play the game and they often pay good hard earned money for that privilege.
None of us are here to do unpaid work on server,network issues, software issues or other problems that Gaijin and their game has. Their employees are paid enough money and have jobs to do, my job is not paid for by Gaijin and is nothing to do with the company and their direction, I would not expect any of my clients to sort their own problems out that is what I am paid for.
To put it in the simplest terms, you need to actually consider that the issue may not be the servers or the game as you have leapt to, because YOUR prejudice is what you’re wanting to spread.
After all, you didn’t come in here to actually help the user, you were merely making an angle to shift the blame, and any question of it, onto the game with the most minimal input as needed on this thread.

If you aren’t going to help a player make some sort of headway, then don’t even bother…
Your axe to grind is yours alone.
Absolutely none of this has anything to do with the users issue or the thread in the slightest.
