Why do helicopters in ground arcade need spawn protection?

I think it was implemented this update because I have never noticed it before. Heli’s now get a few seconds of spawn protection making most top tier SPAA completely unusable. CAS already had an unfair advantage because most of the times they spawn ~1.6km away already facing you, but now they also get to be invulnerable long enough to destroy you without you being able to counter them in any way.

You get a 15 second warning of their spawn, they spawn extremely close without any cover, and half the time have horrible loadouts. CAS are free kills in Arcade, and apparently you’re just complaining they aren’t anymore.

And what do you recommend I do then? Just run around the map while they fire 100 rockets at me? And them spawning close to me is an advantage for them, not for me since I can’t shoot them down because of their spawn protection.

i mean some of these have f&f missile which can be fired in quick succession, electronic weapons, flares, some AA missiles are so bad that you can outmaneuver them with the helicopter, spawn protection seems quite unnecessary unless its top tier where AA has ridiculous range in that case yea maybe

tiger FF missiles can unleash hell in like 5 seconds and completely change the battlefield situation, let alone when many of these spawn in a single match
