Planes kinda suck in arcade though. The whole point is being disposable.

CAS in GAB is just bad. Nothing like spawning into a slow ass SM92 with multiple Fw 190 A-4 shoved up your buttcheeks while being lit up by seven different SPAA trying to be the main character

The best description I’ve seen of CAS players who defend current CAS balance.
thy, you dont need it. Usually i drop bombs and either turn to head-on fighters or to eat some cardboard. You absolutely not forced to suicide bomb.
CAS in arcade is basically the addition of much needed rewards to both sides of the battle.
Every time you push the air spawn butten, you generate rewards literally out of thin air. Because when you do, someone will very likely earn additional income. Maybe you, maybe someone else, maybe both.
So making a CAS in arcade is about the most social activity you can undergo there, as the same CAS helps both sides income on average.
And from my observation, it is a pretty balanced payout as far as the teams go. Introducing a penalty would be biting the hand that feeds you.

Well for starters you don’t get to pick your aircraft. Some of them are totally unsuitable for the situation.
Enemy fighters always spawn immediately behind the bomber, so there’s a good chance it doesn’t make it to the battlefield at all.
And then there’s the ridiculous shooting of bombs.
Ground units have a more than fair chance of avoiding being bombed by arcade CAS.
CAS lives in your mind rent free 🙏

Kinda hard not to when I die from an AGM launched from Narnia that I have no way of countering because I have no warning its coming and I dared to cross from my cover to try and advance forward and push a flank.
There’s numerous ways to counter AGMs, and complaining on the forums is not one of em.

There is a SL reward for surviving the entire duration of your plane ride. Can’t remember what its called.
Oh mythical Pangolin_Fan, how dost thou counter an AGM launched from a plane going Mach Jesus that decided to lock you from 8km away and you have no warning because your LWS doesn’t pick up IR locks and you’re crossing in the middle of a fucking grass field.
Like legit, using the PGM-500s on my Tornado GR.1 is goddamn easy because I aim for targets that are in the open, have no way of countering me, and don’t even know I launched them, because they get ZERO warning. AGM-65s are also pretty great to use and I can even hit you in the middle of Berlin with those from my Hawk 200 RDA.
Maybe don’t drive out into the open like a Germany main. You’ll get shot by a tank doing that if the AGM doesn’t reach you first.

So you’ve never pushed an objective before? I always move up when I know I am not going to be shot at, that doesn’t stop a plane though.
If there’s open field between you and the objective, then don’t spawn that side of the map.
You’re referring to GRB throughout the entirety of your response. - this thread is GAB only.
This is 100% a skill issue. Spawn SPAA. If there’s nobody on your team, spawn it. CAP is another option too. If you say “hurr durr muh ground battles”, TOO BAD, nobody cares. Aircraft are an integral part of mixed battles.

I spawn SPAA when I die to CAS. I have 6 crew slots, 4 are occupied by tanks, one by an SPAA and one by a plane. I don’t intend to raise a 7th crew slot just to bring a second plane to GRB. My stats in ground are perfectly fine where they are, I’m not a detriment to my team and I play decently well enough to avoid dying horrendously in the first few seconds of the match.
Still doesn’t stop a rejected lobotomy patient from lawn darting into the ground to get his “revenge kill”.
Again, lobotomy patient is most apt description of CAS fans in this game.
needs to realize this thread is about arcade ground. You can’t use the plane in arcade.
It says in the title, it is in the sublabels. Where is the problem?
