Why do CAS players so vocally oppose any suggestions

Literally impossible in plenty of cases as CAS can outrange your AA.

This is true tho

If your referring to top tier, yes. As of why using a Jet with 120s is preferred than a SAM. They are not doing so well currently as we need better range SAMs now to combat 15km+ CAS. But anything below that, nah. CAS is still easily handled using SPAA/early SAM.

ATGM helicopters are outranging most AAs until SACLOS ones.

Fr, playing Israel and having no SACLOS, I honestly just feel like going back to hangar anytime a Heli / Drone spawns.

Literally nothing I can do about them from the ground.

Yea, they are.

That’s where I communicate with the team asking someone who’s on air or any capable vehicle to take it down. Works every time. If I don’t that heli will continue dominating or unless I go fly after my death to stop it immediately before it gets worse.

Probably the majority of my chat at top tier Israel is begging the US players on my team to spawn an ADATS to deal with the Ka52 / UHT’s tearing us apart, but like 90% of them only have a clickbait & AIM in their lineup lmao

RIP Israel fr, they need SAMs really really bad. Worse position than how Japan was back then.

(±)~8.3 (7.7 especially) is the only BR range with SPAA over saturation, while CAS being mostly guns and bombs. That changes with helicopters, which you cannot touch. Though I find it funny when I played germany 9.3 against soviets, late game their entire team were shilkas, some poor guy spawned a prop and the sky light up like a Christmas tree

So the blatant outrange problem starts from 8.3 (or 7.7 in the particular case), which isn’t just a top tier problem.

SACLOS can reach them theoretically but if the map is suitable, helicopters will have hills to dip behind to break LoS, so making countering properly played helicopter on a suitable map very hard.

Aye, it’s really bad.

Everyone collectively remembers how much JPN suffered, and how useless Type-93 felt, but Machbet / Chaparral are even worse than Type-93 lol. At least that thing has that optical contrast thingymabob mode now.

Literally everyone is suffering at top tier right now, Russia not so badly, everyone else varying degrees of very badly. But Israel… my god… our best AA going into 2025, would already be obsolete in the 2019 meta lol.

It’s nice that we arguably have the best ASF Ingame, but trying to consistently save the 750+ sp to actually spawn it, whilst getting clowned by vastly superior 2A7/122/BVM on the ground, and by Su-34 / Ka52 / UHT etc from the sky is miserable. It certainly doesn’t help our only ‘light’ to bring that cost down is the 60tons of butter that is Namer lol.

Put them at like 200-500m so they stand out more when you look over the airspawn.

“Toxic” “Unfair” “Bullying” “Skill-less”

Stay malding…

No it’s not… None of it is true…

Tbf, CAS can definitely feel toxic / unfair sometimes, and I feel that way even using it myself.

Often I’ll get outplayed in a 1v1 on the ground, and I can just come back in a plane and space-bar him back to hangar with essentially no skill required.

Doesn’t feel right to me, in a video game, to be able to clown the person who just bettered me lol.

It’s all to do with the labeling of the PLAYER in the game and the PARTICIPANT in these threads that I am pointing directly to…

This is a clouded subject by people mistaking the angle to be anything less than vitriol towards thier opposition.

@MotorolaCRO

You can be happy now.

(I have zero context how or why that happened, I was flying about happily when that appeared in my kill feed)

i was agreeing with a portion of your post lmao

the ‘tho’ makes it questionable as to whether you are or not…

Let me now change it:

“Again, as long as the team allows SPAA to be an issue or not know how to play CAS, Y’all will keep getting that kind of result using SPAA. Until someone who knows how to handle them stands up and deals with the SPAA.”

This has the same weight as what You have just said.
