Yes, and you don’t truely need a document to tell you that either, it’s mostly just a little bit of using your brain, in a thought process, I mean, it’s simple to me, but maybe not others. :P

Missiles can re-acquire locks. Hence why AIM-9Js are sometimes hard to flare really close.

Yes if I had re engaged my afterburner and stopped periodic counter measures that would be logical.
