Why did you remove the option to use SSAA + TAA?

It doesn’t make sense that you remove this option, this update wasn’t to upgrade the graphics?
Why have you done this?

This option have been there for years, and now it’s gone. You are limiting the player to use a worse setting which is FXAA. WHY?

And Gaijins brilliant reply is that: after this update you can’t use TSA and SSAA at the same time, and it’s not a bug.
Go figure.

Yeah they didn’t even give a reason of why they removed

DX12 is the future of War Thunder, and that’s where all the anti-aliasing support is going to be.

You can’t activate SSAA + TAA even in DX12, try it and you’ll see. I am playing in DX12 right now btw

You shouldn’t be using TAA anymore if you’re using DX12.
There are at least 3 superior anti-aliasing options now.
I’m using DLSS for anti-aliasing personally right now.

Use TSR, I run 1080x1920 and it’s pretty clear

bro you can’t activate any of the “new” anti-aliasing options if you wanna use SSAA, when you activate SSAA you just can choose FXAA, try it

Are you using TSR in 1080p and it is pretty clear? Really? I tried TSR WITHOUT SSAA because it doesn’t let me to activated and it is blurry, very blurry. If I activate SSAA it is really nice quality of image but staircase appears so I tried to activate an anti-aliasing but I just can activate FXAA, because if I activate any other SSAA turns off by itself

Exactly it is nice to have “superior anti-aliasing option" but it needs SSAA, if not everything become blurry. They made the graphics worse by doing this, even with RTX enabled it looks worse in the distance than before

My gpu can’t handle SSAA so I never used it. As for TSR and even TAA I never noticed blurring. This may be different for higher resolutions.

I only noticed huge blurring when I tried the new upscaling feature, both high quality and performance. Native worked fine

doesnt DLSS looks blurry af for you? My eyes literally hurt from it

lmao

My exhaustion looks blurry for me, DLSS I have set to native with some sharpness added.
It’s fine.
Might try other methods later when I can get a solid week of rest in a row.

thats strange, for me, even other methods like TAA or TSR are also blurry but not quite like the DLSS. I use FXAA anyway because of the SSAA, basically what CREELAST said can be said about my experience

I’m using FSR and it’s just outworldly; can’t see a single pixel on a single edge, and no blur issues like other settings.

And best of all; it has zero impact on performance, somehow!

Can’t say the same about the implementation of Ray Tracing, that was kinda catastrophic lol.

is bait, right?

Spanish doesn’t bait, they share sincerely and directly.
Acknowledge their perspective and accept it, do not dismiss their experience just cause your own is potentially different.

Monitors are another layer of impact for fidelity, not resolution but the monitor’s general processing and panel quality.

What about this sounds like bait to you?

I think this looks extraordinary (and the pic is messed by JPG compression).
