The AGM already sucked, and with this new update, I just noticed you are no longer able to launch it if your jet is not looking directly at he target, more specifically, if you are climbing even at like 15 degrees, you won’t be able to launch it.
Like why? The range sucks, the Gs it can pull suck, the damage sucks, and now even launch it sucks.

I haven’t had much issues launching it but I need to play it more to get a more definitive answer.
But yeah, Mavericks are one of the worst top tier AGM in the game.

Its not really a top tier AGM, it just sticks around longer than it should

I guess every jet with M61 is kinda nerfed in terms of flight performance
So they did a nerf that primarily targets American aircraft?

Yes, from what I’ve heard they calculated the drag and weight of guns(M61, .50Cal etc) though most aircrafts carry them internally while these are already included in FM calculation, thus sabotaging the flight performance of some aircrafts with no change to FM data.

I wonder if it’s been checked on the F-104, F-4E, F-105, F-106, A-7, and F-111 yet
Is this only on the M61 and .50’s or does stuff like GSh-23 and 30 have this nerf too
afaik .50 and M61 are the ones getting affected most, some other guns are not affected at all
So it conveniently affects 2 guns that are extremely common on American aircraft. And there doesn’t seem to be much effect on Russian or European ones. Interesting
