Why cant we make it so we can chose what team to play in vs another team

There is one flaw with the idea above I realized: Punishing those that don’t die to other players.

Right now there’s a 20% punishment to rewards upon losing your aircraft irrelevant of reason.

The way to fix this while not having repair costs is simple: 20 - 40% rewards punishment for losing your aircraft without another player being given credit.
0 - 5% rewards punishment for losing your aircraft to another player.

This change would make people fight each other more.
The devs don’t have to bring back the extremely exploitable J-out proximity credit system that realistic battles can have.
And if someone crashes, they lose far more rewards than if they died to munitions of another player.
