Why cant warthunder sound like this officially, the current sounds are nasty

i have this old footage i recorded on my xbox one like 3 years ago, two T-2 low fly by which sounded awesome for me at that time

but yeah i wish war thunder had more realistic sounds

I really want a better Spitfire sound. I’ve heard one IRL and they sound amazing. Hearing one in game is very sad same with the Mustang

I really miss 2017 gun sounds because it was pretty cool.

Those are hollywood movie sounds, not realisitic sounds.
People prefer movie sounds to realistic sounds though as the high-pitched nature of guns don’t appeal to many people as much as they should.

Prefer Hollywood sound sometimes, not even gonna lie about it lol just makes sound more awesome and cool even if its not its real sound XD

nah, The “Hollywood sounds” are more realistic, and its not like you cant look up the sounds on youtube, They even managed at 2:35 to get the realistic whistling sound of the air blowing passed the p-51’s guns in the video, something gaijin did not


. Ive been in custom battles and for some reason alot planes after burners don’t make any sound on takeoff

and warthunder has a sound blending problem, sounds of planes (even the same planes) cancel each other out, not combining and creating one loud sound.

This is why we use Sound mods. RCSM(Realistic Combat Sound Mod. It is a damn impressive one when it comes to sound design. Unfortunately, it does seem that Gaijin doesn’t have the Technical know-how to make sounds as faithful to the real-life vehicle. Something the WT community has said many times that they would be willing to help. If given a plead. Sigh…

i know, why doesnt gaijin work with the warthunder modders to make the sounds instead of hatin them. Its funny how the modders with limited resources can make such godly and realistic sound but gaijin with its millions cant do anything.

Only bad hollywood sound is gunsounds just like M61 20mm sounds from Top Gun 2.

It sounds like WW2 B-17s 50cal gunner.

For business reasons, my guess is it’s just more difficult if they aren’t working for you than it would be if they were.
