As said, just group them all in some kind of early 50s matchup. This would be a lot more balanced than having to deal with the damn 1980s T-55AM or even the 1962 T-55A firing the 1978 3BM25 in a 1950 Centurion 3 firing 1950s ammo every time the Cent gets uptiered.
In fact, we had that historical matchmaking years ago in War Thunder. Back when the top tanks were Chieftain, M60A1, T-55/T-62, Leopard 1. And the game was incredibly more fun and balanced that the clown show we’re seeing right now.
What else do you want other than UFP and Turret?
3BM25 has same performance as 1962 3BM8 in game, which isnt accurate as its 3BM8 which isnt supposed to pen UFP and LFP of M60 on ranges (which it doesnt in game) and 3BM25 which is supposed to do that on ranges(also doesnt in game), in game they barely have difference.
That was a completely different game, lost in time.

Neither of them has the additional spall modifier for the gun_mask turned on, as far as I can see.
And they dont have same gun mask addon armour(which are the gun mask 5 and 3(i suppose) that have secondary spall on on 2A5 and later), thank you.

2A5 was nerfed with a reload rate change, I can’t remember if it increased the BR ceiling tho.
It was indeed rolling over Soviets & USA.
USSR was the only faction capable of fighting it thanks to the Mi-35M/Tunguska combo. The problem was that USSR was constantly matched with Germany during that time. Soviets only needed a squad of players with the Mi-35 to get a free win back then and even the Leopard 2A5 couldn’t stop that. But not many people had the Mi-35 while the Leopard 2A5 was a common occurence.

Yes, and it seems like they’ve decided to roll with it for no reason what’so’ever… and the worst part is we cannot bug report this, because this was an intentional change, and because the only proof of it exists in the datamine - which Gaijin does not accept.

Back then I was just ending my break from War Thunder ground, and wouldn’t be at the top until May? of 2019 after the nerfs.
I was there just in time for Type 90 supremacy when HEATFS was the best ammo to use due to APFSDS costing 1200 SL a shot & HEATFS penning 650mm.
pantsir is equally dangerous as tor to CAS (even a lot more if you fly straight unaware)
M2k doesn’t have f&f agm’s. but just dropping at 10km and going at a 70~90° angle while chaffing is enough to disturb the guidance of both.
tor however has a big fat smoke trail, looks like a damn saturn V, so it’s easy to know you have been shot at.

I did cas using M2K yesterday, where I was intentionally reckless. I died to Pantsir once this year cause I was 750kph and going essentially directly at them.
Outside that, over 10? 20? missiles got shot at me within 11km and all failed otherwise.
I thought this major would increase its lethality like the ADATS and allegedly ITO were, however it still can’t hit fast moving targets.

Can’t wait for the T-90M with yet another broken armor/damage model. Russia truly is suffering right now and absolutely needs another tank. Meanwhile, Gaijin will add a M1A2SEPV2 or something with LFP that still doesn’t stop anything, that is if they’re feeling generous. That sure will be fun./s

SEP2 has the precious hull armor upgrade American mains yell about.
American mains are also the ones that claimed & proved that the armor upgrades happened 2002 onward.
