That’s enough in my book lol
Would you even want a 30mm Bushmaster?
Nah, it’s the stinky 30mm one
im not really asking for it specifically just saying its the 25mm on the Bradleys
that being said i wouldnt mind the M1296 and M1304
Fair
how is a 30mm worse? ive used the bush 25mm on the fahris and it sucks with the PMB dart. I love the 30mm on the badger so i cant see how its worse
i think if they modeled acuraccy better the Bushmasters would be preferred over a 2A42
thats my point man , we could at least do with the LAV 2 etc from Canada or Aussie lights to try and bolster what we do have.
My point stands the Warriors aren’t particularly great especially the DW , as well as this it only is 10.0
The rooikats etc fall short at hte higher BRs as well.
Badger is close enough
what makes you thik the LAV’s are going to be much better, if they are better, than the Warrior?
Badger is horrific mate.
the LAV’s will be pretty similar to badger or BTR-80
Usually the 30mm has 80 round belts instead of being able to fire continuosly like the Badger and the 25mm on the Bradley. The 30mm also doesn’t get that much more pen compared to the loss in terms of fire rate.
That being said, the one on the Desert Warrior also isn’t good at all as it also has a rather small belt with a long reload and terrible pen for its BR.
The Bradley has like 10mm more pen than the Desert Warrior.
Edit: also the 30mm has terrible accuracy, the one on the Badger doesn’t have that problem
Again, the Warriors are good as ATGM platforms.
The DW is fine in top tier thanks to the TOW-2As and Bs and from my experience and that of my friends the Rooikat still holds up in top tier. They might not be as good as the Type 16 and the Stryker, but they are good enough to serve as light vehicles even at top tier.
So it’s ok to put nations together to pander to China, and it’s ok to keep vehicles from certain nations to pander to China, but it’s not ok to put together nations that share a border. I guess China is the only nation whos opinion matters
Eh… I Still dont think it should be 10.0. 9.7 would be better for it and vs pretty much any 10.3+ IFV, you are outclassed.
We are long overdue a proper IFV
As PNB is weaker than the Bradleys’ darts I could get behind a lower BR, but then again, the TOW launchers on the DW don’t have that weird deploying mechanism that the Bradleys have.
They had a chance to add a good IFV in form of the Rooikat LCT-30/ZT3, but they had to add the Badger instead :(
The Ajax would have to get Javelins to be a proper IFV (does the Ajax even count as an IFV? I’ve only seen it being referred to as an AFV) imho, as being limited to an autocannon really limits the usefulness of that type of vehicle.
Why does the topic still get comments? Canadian’s have already answered our thoughts.
No, due to a long list of historic and Current events.
On top of that, a Canadian sub-tree(if it gets any TT vehicles, which 99.9% won’t due to the lack of room) in the US tree, would be British C&P until 8.0. Unlike the British, who used/gave Canada the majority of its C&P. On top of that, Canadian-built stuff used/based on British tech until the 80s.
Tho with current issues with the sub-trees, the best way to add most new nations isn’t sub-trees. Well, unless we get a sub-tree rework.
Canada-ANZAC tree or pure Canadian tree, are currently the only options that guarantees Canadian vehicles that should be TT, are(at this moment). After that, it’s a British sub-tree with hopefully a sub-tree rework. And the other options are being fought against for a number of reasons.
There is an IFV variant recently announced. Just an AJAX with an extended hull.
Just looked it up, it seems pretty good.
Remote turret with a 40mm, APS and Javelins!
(I’d still also bring the ZT3A2 and DW for their ATGMs though lol)
Anyways, still can’t find any gap or niche that would require the addition of Canadian vehicles lol
The main specifically canadian options I see are:
LAV series as an extra set of light tanks as Gaijin seems alergic to Warrior variants
Avro Arrow and a few other domestically produced aircraft
after that. I can just see Canadian versions of vehicles Britain operated. Like switching out the Early BAE Hawk for the Canadian one for all their skins or things like the Sexton. Doesnt change much other than skins, flag and voice-lines.
Well, the Hawk I can’t really see; the Sexton is a Canadian vehicle in the first place.
We built it as part of a British request, so well, it probably should be added as British; it being Canadian wouldn’t be wrong.
