Why Canada Should Be a U.S. Sub-tree in War Thunder

welcome to the indian MBT line.
Soon to be filled with Arjuns and T-90s, as well as jordian challengers

i like it how other nations like Uk, China etc are allowed to get their exports.
But germany apparantly isnt. lovely that there is that double standard

I mean, I’d be totally fine if they were in both trees.

not how gajin handles it normaly

Hunter F58 & Revenge-Class Battlecruiser Cough cough

Sorry. I have something in my throat

those are vehicles of official trees in war thunder , they dont count xD

So are the German export vehicles you are complaining about… So?

canada and australia arent official subtrees
i didnt complain about official subtree vehicles

Uk asks for jordanian imports as example, jordania is not in the game, same as canada/ australia, so its not a problem

about the revenge class,
i agree for its implementation if UK doesnt have any revenge class at all yet, that shoudlnt be the case
but its naval, i dont know enough about that

Hunter F58 is British

Revenge-Class Battlecruiser is British.

Neither are australian or Canadian.

So? Why arent they in the British TT?

specific swiss variant wasnt it? i am not sure if it was used anywhere else.
Officialy in the swiss tree.

as stated earlier

You are asking for vehicles of nations that are officialy in the game, they do have a “real” home as well

Canada and australia dont, but i believe developers should have at least any variant of a vehicle at least once.
Revenge class if not any in the UK tree should definitly be added.
Hunter UK already got, and i believe recently got a buff with sraam? not sure

So is the KF-41

Not when it was added

There isnt a revenge in the British tree, only in the russian

And it also conveniently is the most modernised of the British ww1 era battleships in game

thats why i am not asking for the Hungarian version, but the australian KF41, which should go to germany

but its now

We have yet to see a Commonwealth or export MBT being added to that line lol

I do hope that it will be something like the Arjun or an exported tank, but it will most likely be some Indian operated Soviet/Russian tank

Tbh as long as it isn’t identical (i.e modified to the point to where it differs in gameplay) wouldn’t mind to see soviet tanks. That being said I’d rather see thier domestic stuff first.

I believe their “Combat Improved Ajeya” T-72 is the only one that isn’t identical to other Soviet tanks. Their BMP-2s seem to be mostly identical to the BMP-2s seen in the USSR tree.

They did upgrade the Vijayanta (Vickers Mk.1) a bit, so maybe there is another variant of those that could be added as well, but otherwise I am not aware of any tanks that they actually modified in ways that actually would change them ingame beyond visuals or very slightly different armor values.

Their (in my opinion) only interesting modification of the BMP-2, the Namica, would go into the middle line, as it is a ATGM carrier

What is considered even as “loose priorities” for nations to go to another? For Finland it just seems to be geographical proximity and relations. For Hungary it’s ww2 alliance/minor axis nations in southern Europe. But then you have Taiwan. Hate each others guts, but they have a connected past. Or the Iranian F-14 which is just out there. If you truly don’t care for political hastle, what’s holding up from an asked tree like South Korea from going to Japan, or Ukraine in the future?

I mean there has to be at least some requirement when there’s no say Taiwan for USA or North Korea to Germany.

The default placement of a vehicle whose operator is not a tree or subtree is the manufacturers tree.
Iran is not a tree or subtree and the F-14 was built by the US, so the Iranian F-14 went to the US tree.

Taiwan is in the Chinese tree because the Chinese server, which had a seperate game client, included Taiwan in the Chinese tree and the Chinese tree from that server was just copied over to the regular WT client.

Finlands vehicles went to Germany at first, but later on Gaijin decided to add them as a subtree for Sweden, most likely due to the proximity and the relationship between Sweden and Finland.

About other future subtrees, you won’t hear anything from Smin or Gaijin except for “we can’t confirm anything” or “we don’t have any plans for that currently”

Yeah, true. But asking because why not I guess.

touchy subject, but taiwan is also called republic of china. It is still china, even if they dont necesarily stand each other.

still an F-14, developed by US, relation to iran didnt realy matter
