Why are there so many cheaters in high tier

I noticed that around 10% of players are cheaters in high tier almost every single match from 9.0 and beyond while in low or mid tier this is hardly a thing and it ranges from

  • direct hit from multiple walls away (no indirect fire)
  • instant shot as soon as they can see a single pixel which you can hardly react to
  • shot from ridiculous distance to weak spot while on high speed movement at 1st try
  • planes shooting or dodging as soon and i truly mean as soon as you fire at them not with missile but with auto cannons
  • attacks after gunner and loader are dead even if the weapon mechanism is marked in red color
  • repairs from red to normal in less than 3 seconds

in low to mid tier, players seem to be either highly skilled, intelligent or absolutely clueless but in high tier there’s something strange that is way too noticeable in some people and im not sure if this is actually a thing bcoz it feels odd, as if they were exploiting some ingame feature bcoz its like fighting the assault mode IA, other thing i noticed is the fact that, when players like this are banned there always seems to be around the same number of bans as if they came back every time lol

Watch the delusional players who “never saw a cheater” (spoiler, theres atleast 1 in every 2nd or 3rd match, but cheats dont mean top frag 10000 kills -5000 deaths) say you just have a skill issue

As an air main of 13 years I can explain this one with confidence. The MOMENT I see tracers I change how I fly. I can even dodge entire battleship groups of fire power for a while this way. The key is not to over react and get slow, just change about 10 degrees course and then go back once you see the enemy adjust fire. You get really good at it after a while to the point where it’s like a beautiful reactive dance.

Because everyone who kills me hacks and everyone I kill sucks.

Such is the internet and always has been.

His planes example may have been a bad one; the rest of his comment stands, and you should not use his plane example to undermine the entire comment.

Except you’re being intentionally obtuse.

1 - Short repair time does not mean cheating; it is dependent upon the vehicle and crew level. For example, the event BMD-4 can lose the barrels to both its 100mm and 30mm at the same time and only have a 4-second repair with an Ace-level 150 crew. I do not cheat, but someone might accuse me of such if they don’t realize that not every repair is 30 seconds long.
2 - There can be a discrepancy in what you see on your end vs what your shell does to the target, resulting in your penetration camera showing you killing the gunner and commander as well as taking out the breech, but them still being able to shoot. This has happened to me in closed customs with friends that I know aren’t cheating.
3 - Someone shooting you from super far away in the perfect spot does not mean they are cheating, but mostly that they have never seen grass, and likely never will.

Now, just because there are explanations for these things happening doesn’t mean people aren’t cheating. I’m just saying that a majority of the time, someone isn’t cheating; they either got lucky or are just a sweatlord in need of a break.

There are cheaters, yes, but you are significantly overstating how many there are
