So I thought gaijin actually had a decent idea until i remembered they are gaijin… so we can’t research ANYTHING on these vehicles!? Stock Heat FS rounds that are useless, no ability to repair… I mean come on gaijin.
At least make the modules researchable, there is absolutely no point in playing any of them but the spaa. The whole point of this was to stop players from leaving after 1 death and they still are because nobody wants to play a stock tank with no chance to unlock modules.

If you actually grind the free vehicles they’re still stock. When the update came out they often even replaced my spaded vehicle from my lineup with a stock variant, which I really hope they patched already.
These vehicles should just come with all the modifications you have for that specific vehicle. That way they still encourage grinding them, but don’t punish you for doing that.
Though even without it’d be nice to have essentials like parts, thermals/LRF for top tier and at least the first available APFSDS so they’re not just stuck with HEAT. I understand making them worse than spaded vehicles if you don’t have them, but at least make them usable.
Its just another prime example of Gaijin having an actual good idea, then implementing it horribly. It really is a shame how downhill the quality of WT has gone in the last year.
If they do that then there wont be a point in buying extra crew slots for GE.

The onyl thing they should get is a dart (since heat is less than useless at higher BR) and parts. No lrf no thermals. It is a free vehicke after all.
Problem is at the BR you get them they need the first apfsds round, heatfs is so bad it’s laughable… however that would be gaijin admitting stock heat is bs so they never will…
Same with parts and fpe… at least lets us unlock this stuff on the free tanks…

Funny because the issue they wanted to solve of 1 death leaving hasn’t been fixed then you have this strange massive spaa imbalance now and a load of issue that has come from them.
No parts? One nick and you are useless.
Why would players stick around in a battle for that? There’s no incentive to keep going.
