Ever notice how some maps have positions that look directly into spawns and people from said spawn almost have no way of countering it? Are they just bad designs of old maps or are brand new maps having the same issues? (This is just a general discussion not asking for anything specific). To me it seems gaijin rewards the behavior. I understand power positions locking down certain areas of the map, but no power position should ever be able to look directly into a spawn. Take Sinai for example. On the top left section of the map, enemy players spawning from the bottom of the map can sit on that road and have a direct line of sight into the spawn. Would you consider that fair at all?
Bad map design = More frustration = More purchases = More profit
Nothing new, small Sinai is a map that favors the south side as they’ll have control over A by default, while having almost uncontested route all the way from spawn to the spawn camping spot.
They’ll also have better/safer access to the area around B cap with much more cover from C side snipers.
Small Sinai is one of those maps that should’ve been completely reworked years ago.
Because they let interns design them.
Bad maps = shorter matches = less rp = more frustration = more premium purchases = more profit for gaijin
which will eventually lead to its death just like WOT 💀
