Why are single spawn zone maps still a thing!?

Just played a single cap, single spawn zone version of Hürtgen Forest. Got spawn camped within 2mins 30s. The rest of the match is simply trying to fight our way out of an awful situation with no chance of flanks or tactical play.

Now, I have no issue with single zone maps, they can be fun clusters of quick action, with the single zone changing hands multiple times… OR they can be one sided slaughter fests because a spawn gets locked down within the first few minutes of the match, the main reason behind this being no secondary spawn options.

We’ve seen how well a second spawn can improve a map to prevent shut out games, just look at Carpathians. Even if you get trapped, you can spawn from a different area and ambush those locking down the spawn, it’s a cathartic few kills, even if the game is completely over.

So I ask again, WHY DO SINGLE SPAWN ZONE MAPS STILL EXIST IN 2024?

Because Gijin wants you to get spawn camped by Mig-15’s/17’s and SU-25’s
