Because germans are facing a poor matchmaking in some cases if you comparing them to other tanks from other nation on the same BR range. It kinda stupid how easy you can kill german tanks while on the german side you have to shoot very precisely to do any damage.

Saying that XX Nations tanks are bad, when balance seemingly exists, and always slighty in favor of German tanks, it kinda hard to believe.
Most of the time, the problem of German tankists are Awareness and Strategy.
Some put themselves in difficult situations.
Take some KT-P/H tanks, Heavy tanks with useful 88mm gun, pretty well armored from the front, except to 1 or 2 weakspots.
Those tanks were made for long range fights, but we mostly sees those players rushing in a battle, often alone, thinking their Armor will save them.
Welp, if you’re rushing in, you’re exposing your flanks to ennemy fire, and while your front plates are well defended, your sides aren’t.
So most of the time we hear about German tanks are shit, is because people use them wrongly.

i had to change the title to tanks insteat of players because this post was flagged by comunity…
Because it always depends on other players,… but also your own ability to drive them.
I had this morning the best game since long time, on Attica, starting from A spawn and died at the opposite side of the map, taking 2 bases, and killing 6 tanks +5 assists using a M-24 Chaffee.
I asked many times to attack x or y objectives, scouting all the way, killing when possible,…
The problem ain’t tanks, but how to use them.
In such many players don’t want to learn, we just have to cope with it.
But Forum rules are against any discrimination post (as such: “german players being bad” or “german tanks being bad” are discriminatory)
From my experience BR 6.0 to 9.7 is the range where the issues are.
How are they bad one of the best tanks in all round tiers maybe at 7.7 where there some clumsy tanks but still top tier is great other brs do great too its kind of funny id say usa top tier is bad with so many dummies Leos have great survivability and are great everywhere

Keep nerfs after uptiers, the only nation with suffering hystorical nerfs, keeping movility and good CAS after pay walls, the only nation for years with MM locks, ect etc etc.

And this is maybe because the 90% of WT maps are trash small urban mazes where those tanks are hard to use.
Always the fucking BS over and over again, is funny how all antions are affcted by poor map desing, lack of proper lineups, stronger enemies or nerfs but the only problem of Germany is “bad players” .

I don’t think WW2 German tanks are that bad so long as they are sitting back and not moving.They just don’t take hits from the side. At all where as Russian tanks bounce huge amounts side on. I don’t think Germany as a nation has that much confidence in pressing ahead like maybe allied teams do so maybe that might explain game win rates.
I watched a couple of replays on a narrow map(Cargo port) and the Germans made up of many Tiger twos just stomped massively because it was a front to front game and what little flaking space there was we owned anyway.The top player in a German tank got ten for zero.The replay showed him bouncing frontal shots all over.
On a map with plenty of flanking space that might not have been the case.
T34s, KV1s IS s Bounce crazy shots from the side, laughter inducing sometimes.

Literally just play Britain, France, Italy, and learn that Germany has it quite nice at most tiers.

No, you only play USA, UK and Japan. You barely played the others nations with just a few battles (for example with Italy where you most played tank has 5 battles)
The next time you come with your biasrd view at the least try to get some good arguments and less anty germany hate and bias.

for real mate,… the German Suffers theme is fake, based on stories and expectations that were relatives to specifics situations and competent crews,… here on War Thunder, none of this happen.
but germans believes expectations to be the true Value of what should be a German tank (whatever it is)
so,… again - No German tanks currently suffers apart from being used by a unknowledgeable playerbase
most people just doesn’t wanna learn from their mistakes, and that’s pretty much what happen with german tanks.
Germany does quite good, they’ve got very solid lineups at practically any BR. As some here have mentioned, if you think German tanks are bad I’d like you to try the British, I have never felt more frustrated ever before.
