I own the premium aircraft MiG-23ML and the squadron aircraft Su-33 (with a talisman.
Which of the two aircraft would be better for researching Rank 7 or Rank 8 aircraft?(I have the other ranks already researched)

the ML is much better.

If you can consistantly get 2-3 kills in either, then use either, doesnt really make much of a difference
If not, then stick Napalm on the ML and just base bomb, its the strongest base bomber at that BR.
ML does also come with the advantage of printing SLs at the same time
Squadrons vehicles can’t efficiently research low tiers because of the penalty, if you didn’t know. Premiums don’t have that issue, so if you wanna grind low tiers you should pick the premium

13.0 is kind of a not very friendly BR anymore with all of the 13.3 powerful premiums sucking you up in the matchmaker going around
MiG-23 if you want to grind quickly, but Su-33 if you want to get used to top tier and top tier platforms
Play 13.7 and eat the 13.3 prems
