For a very long time, the US gyrostabilizers were not as effective as they are now. Before update “Raining Fire” (came out on the 2nd of September, 2020), they had a maximum speed of 15 km/h, which was buffed to 24 km/h.
The T25 was at least already 6.0 (BR changes from January 2020, I haven’t found the exact BR changes when it became 6.3) when those changes happened. And about a year later after the stabilizers got buffed (update “Direct hit”), the stabilizer was removed.
So while yes, the T25 did have a gyrostabilizer back when it was 5.7, it was not nearly as strong as the gyrostabilizers you see today, and it was already at least 6.0 when the stabilizers got buffed.
Edit: found it, the T25 became 6.3 in early February of 2021.
Char25t. Used to be 7.3, got some buffs so it went to 7.7. Now it’s 8.0.
Amx-13 FL11. It’s a 3.7 tank at 4.3.
Amx-13 DCA 40. It was good at 4.3, now it is 5.0 without a lineup.
I’m starting to sense a theme here.

AMX-50 with 90 mm cannon. It was fine at the initial 7.3 br. Then increased to 7.7, and then up to 8.0 for some reason. Now its almost unplayble, because you’re sucked in full uptiers against Turm III, T-55AM/AMD, Leopard A1A1, etc.
I dont know if it’s just me not having played for so long but the premium corsair now seems to handle like **** in GRB . Has CAS been nerfed to suit the CAS complainers?

What exactly happend? I’m interested
I think it handles fine as usual. I just played it the other day. Still is a great CAS and CAP plane.

Just not pulling out of dives like it use to and feeling unstable ,keeps listing on is roll axis.
Might be me as I haven’t played for a while.I dont trust Gaijin not keep nerfing everything.
Ah the X-box exclusive?
F4U-4Bs got nerfed with more compression not too long ago. It’s historical as far as I know.
It does compress a bit more like @FlipAllTheTables said, but I’ve only done it once or twice recently. I generally don’t fly fast enough to compress and I’m not good enough to dive bomb and compress.
All you need to do is throttling down a little

If I’m not mistaken the F4U-5 had improved hydraulics which improved the performance at high speeds (among other changes like the engine).
That to say, please add the F4U-5 Gaijin. 🙂

I didnt know that
You got me there I do everything at 100% throttle : ) Bad habit
If you say its no different than it ever was then OK ,it me being out of practice.I have just played this game long enough to be paranoid.
Mhm. I was very happy to find out it would transfer with me to my PC account when I transferred! Got me a good bit of the way through the US TT
Lol. I dogfight at 100% most times, but slow it down when bombing. But don’t dive bomb in it. Even before the compression change it still doesn’t like it. Might just be me tho. I prefer glide bombing and horizontal bombing

It takes a bit of practice and confidence to dive bomb,or rather faith in being at the right height to drop then pull out safely.I probably lack that as I haven’t played for a while. Im also at 6.7 where I dont live normally.Must be me then.I’ll still blame Gaijin though : )

Lol yeah. I’d rather stick with what I’m used to, but probably should learn bc it would be helpful

AMX-13 FL11 is great at 4.3, just lacks a lineup.
M24s are still not 4.3 sadly.
AMX-13 DCA does have a 5.3 lineup tho: M4A4 SA50, EBR, ARL-44.
M4A1 FL10 premium if you want/have it.
I’m indifferent on Char 25T personally at this time.
Sounds like he just pulls 100% up after bombing. That will cause a crash if your plane doesnt have even weight
