Which American plane should I buy?

You must understand that it is hard to believe since statshark shows only one profile under your nick. Can you provide proof?

Not really. If you are playing those jet daily the F-4S has a lot worse BR for matchmaking. 50% time you will be the lowest BR plane in the match while being top BR plane 25% of the time. F/A-18C early on 12.7 gets to enjoy 50% of days as top BR plane while never being the lowest BR plane in the match.

Fair enough

luckily people smarter than me already did their homework regarding data provided by statshark, as seen in this thread:

While yes, 12.7 sees more downtiers, consider that:
A) difference between uptiers and downtiers between 12.0 and 12.7 isnt that big,

B) type of planes you will be facing in uptier when comparing 13.0 and 13.7. Were talking facing F-15A with same sparrows you have, maybe Su-27 slinging 27ERs, and at absolute worst legacy platforms such as Tornado, Kfir C10 and KWS with AMRAAMs. At 13.7 were talking F-15C, Gripen C, J-10A, Su-27SM, and possibly the worst plane you wanna be facing in 18C early - M2K with MICAs.

Ask yourself this - if you were a new player, would you rather be facing slow jets with AMRAAMs, or M2K with MICAs while yourself are armed only with SARHs and IR missiles without IRCCM?

Cute charts. Totally irrelevant though since in reality F/A-18C will never see anything above 13.0. Worst match it can be thrown in is a 12.3-13.0 bracket

A) Its data taken directly from the game itself. No matter how you wish for sky to be red, its not going to change fact that it is blue. Same with these “cute charts” as you call them.

wow, it took me what, 2 minutes from reading your comment to prove you wrong, who wouldve thought.

How easy people forget: Premiums tiers are filled with people, but top tier has more

…okay?

Sorry, I am just dead tired. I was agreeing with you, that even though the premium tiers are usually pretty full of people (premiums means more people, more people means you are going to end up in a certain BR more often than others, which is how seal clubbers get away with bullying low tiers), that doesn’t mean you are immune to uptiers.

It seems like he was thinking, “oh, there’s a bunch of Phantom and MiG 23 spammers, that means the F-18 will be downtiered to 11.7/12.0” forgetting that top tier (13.7-14.0) is more popular and you will be more likely to be put in that BR range.

Hopefully that clears it up. It was a long night.

Ah, i see, no worries, now i understand. Yes, premium tiers are more populated, but as mentioned, difference between uptiers and downtiers between 12.0 and 12.7 isnt that big.

If you are really trying to prove that there is something I do not understand about the matchmakerworks over here: why do you keep posting totally random and irrelevant stuff?

You claimed that 18C will never see anything above 13.0.

I showed you a screen of a match i launched immidiately after reading your comment and i was loaded into 13.7, as proven by the 13.7 F-15J(M) plane.

Thus, you were wrong.

Take the L and dip.

Sounds like we should start from the very basics:

Have you seen this before?

im gonna be honest, im retarded and completly overlooked the sim tag. I apologize for being both rude and wrong.

Haha i was wondering if I had imagined the tag and rechecked. Can happen.- Obviously for RB you are right, but SB has a bit different set of rules/rotation for MM

A 12.3-13.3 bracket MM would be interesting IMHO

That makes both of us. To be fair, who the hell actually posts in Sim?

Now that I know you are talking about Sim, just go for the F-4S. Pretty fast and you can bomb bases real quick and fly back real fast. 24 minutes of fuel, full afterburn in Sinai, and you’ll be racking in points real fast.

nah this one is entirely on me and theres no salvaging it lmao

yeah, just like naval, sim and sim brackets are beyond my scope so im not even going to touch that.
